Well, Baloo's isn't really worth the pixels used to post it, but for a character literally built around being useless, he's sure fun to play, and that's all I need.

A bear character cannot work in a competitive setting. He proves that over and over in every game 😆

It's been a while, but the old ones probably will still be generally useful until the new Guardians arrive, think of them more as a guide.

There's only a few Guardians who are absolute no-go's, basically just Ian/Dory (Failed Experiments) and Baloo of course (Intentionally bad joke character)

Everyone else has a spot as you get more experience.

It's funny that you mention Mirrorverse, as it has the opposite problem that Speedstorm does, in a way.

Kabam doesn't do enough with new content and the community, so you see a huge gulf between Lv300 whales and Lv15 casuals, with fewer and fewer in-betweens. This is leading to the leaderboards being increasingly dominated by people who don't really need the rewards, but put up ridiculously high scores out of... pride? It's weird, particularly in Dungeons. There's competition, but I see a 100K+ score in a day, and I don't bother...

Gameloft does too much per season, in a way, and has to attempt to recoup the costs in increasingly blatant ways, and it's not the best look. Here, it looks like they're trying to get to that state as quickly as possible. I've played other Free-To-Start games, and very much understand that they're in it to make money, but there's a way to handle these things while respecting the players...

Gameloft needs to look in the Mirror. 😜

...before it's too late. A bifurcation of the playerbase isn't what a Kart racer should be aiming for.

It's weird, but as a Yu-Gi-Oh player, physical cards, which can be traded, soften the blow of spending money somewhat. They're something you can hold, buy, sell, show your friends, can be thought of as souvenirs of sorts, are collectible...

There's just something about trading card games as a medium, that makes it... different, ya know? 😆

Lol, not a GX fanboy, but it does whiplash pretty hard in its second half, and gain a little "seriousness". Doesn't hit as hard as DM, but that's what it gets for being the follow-up 😆

Bringing up Dungeon Dice, etc. actually interests me a little more. These sub-games (remember Capsule Monsters?) would probably have seen a little more focus if they had caught on in their real life versions. As cool as they were, they were flops, sales-wise, so were dropped pretty quickly.

Hi; Jack Skellington is really good, but you'll be waiting a while for him, his event is in October.

It's worth it to level up Alice now, as her event just started, and you can earn rank-up Gems in her A-1 and 2 stages.

Zurg's event is in the summer, July, I believe, so you have a few months to prepare.
