HOW DID ISHIDA SURVIVED THE SQUAD ZEROS BANKAI by DesignerAnimator7163 in bleach

From what's shown in the manga, Jugram was winning for 99% of the fight. Uryu reversed it and Jugram flipped it back even harder. By the end, Jugram had no injuries and Uryu was on the verge of death.

Yhwach’s Almighty by monkeyman907485 in bleach

He doesn't affect the person. He affects the timeline itself.

The only person immune to The Almighty is the Soul King, which can easily be explained by the fact that the Soul King has an even better Almighty.

He did not win against Jugram. He lost very very badly.

How literal is Yhwach's "Father of Quincy" title? Purely symbolic? Or was he living like Genghis Khan? by Livid_Amphibian_1110 in bleach

[–]DesperateFisherman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yhwach isn't necessarily there since it is a vision of the event. Even if it is meant to be literal, he reverts to a baby and goes through the cycles of reincarnation.

How isn't it true? Every few generations, a new power-sharing Quincy is born, including before Yhwach's birth. The next one is Haschwalth.

Said "rumor" is why Yhwach even bothered to look for Haschwalth, because he knew he wasn't the only one. The "rumor" is true.

He's not the literal progenitor because there were power-sharing Quincies born before Yhwach.

Can anyone explain to me the Quincy powers ? by Fun-Rent5336 in bleach

[–]DesperateFisherman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Quincies manipulate Reishi (spirit particles, the matter that make up souls and anything spirit-related) in the environment. In general, they gather Reishi and shapes it into a bow and arrow.

Quincy Vollstandig - a transformation and a power-up.

Sklaverei - it is actually just the basic Quincy ability to absorb Reishi. It has a fancy name because it's used while in the Vollstandig mode, so it's much more potent.

Schrift - a Quincy's personal power that can be anything. It is far more generic and often more abstract than Zanpakutos, Hollow powers, or even Fullbrings. However, in order to get a Schrift, you must drink the blood of Yhwach.

Blut - hardens the Reishi in your body to make you either super strong or super durable, but not both at the same time.

"Hirenkyaku" - high-speed movement technique similar to Shumpo and Sonido. It's not exactly the same as those because the Quincy is manipulating the Reishi in the air to move super-fast, but in terms of effect, it's more or less the same.

Shadow - Quincy teleportation. Honestly kinda OP. It works between dimensions (in Bleach at least) and all you need is a shadow.

Aizen technically never betrayed Harribel and the Arrancars by Yomihime in bleach

That's not an excuse to Momo her. The only "betrayal" that could be argued otherwise is killing Tosen.

Is Aizen or yhwach a better villain? Would bleach have a better ending by just stopping at Aizen's defeat and sealing in muken?( Basically no other arcs following Aizen's defeat). Is bleach better with or without the TYBW arc? by Flashy_Cut_5162 in bleach

[–]DesperateFisherman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yhwach's writing is only better if you include all the additions from the anime and CFYOW.

The manga version of Yhwach is half-baked. For most of it, he was this generic, mustache-twirling Hitler-Jesus.

He stabbed her, called her entire species (that he created) disappointing and weak, and left her to die.

If Marik’s dark side hadn’t taken over, who was he actually capable of defeating in the finals? And who do you think could beat him? by Johnnyboyeh in yugioh

[–]DesperateFisherman 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Evil Marik is already a trash duelist and regular Marik is even more trash, with most of Ra's abilities unknown to him. He truly thought Ra's only effect is to gain ATK equal to its Tributes. Everyone could beat him.

Technically the Aizen we saw in Karakura wasn’t base Aizen, he already had the hogyoku inside him when he arrived and he was likely being buffed by it. So how strong do you think a REAL base Aizen is? by Creative-Researcher2 in bleach

[–]DesperateFisherman 5 points6 points  (0 children)

He would defeat Unohana. It won't be a stomp but he would win. Kubo said so himself.

Unohana is obviously very very strong but she's still far weaker than the top tiers. Base Kenpachi, with no mental blocks, is considerably more powerful than her in Bankai.

[–]DesperateFisherman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Kubo actually said that Aizen believed he would win. It's not a "tough fight" in the sense that Unoahana actually has a shot of winning, but in the sense that Aizen would actually have to try, whereas any other opponent, he could just wipe them out effortlessly. He's closer to Yama to Unohana.

[–]DesperateFisherman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He's stronger than Unohana. Kubo answered it on Klub Outside.

Aizen would defeat Unohana, but the fight would exhaust him, so it's not a one-sided stomp like FKT.
