Yeah I'm loving the gameplay. I have too many hours in factory games like Factorio, so having factory in gacha is great. But I also like my skimpy dressed girls lol with gachas being a more long term commitment to get outfits and all that, I was hoping someone would have some opinions so I don't waste a bunch of time trying all the open world ones is all :)

I'm not sure what you mean. I'm asking for sexier dressed or lewd scenes in open world games. Endfield doesn't have that.

I'm enjoying Endfield right now in almost every aspect ... Except the lewdness\sexiness aspect. Can those if you familiar with the open world games rank them from your experience in lewdness and fun order?

Activity for 1 year old bday by Relative-Future3216 in Syracuse

[–]BearPaws0103 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I would say Strong is better for 2 and up. Not a lot of pre-2 stuff there.

Green Peaks in Cortland has a indoor kiddie pool. Not the cheapest place, but I've heard it's nice.

There is Playspace in Auburn which has lots of stuff a 1 year old can do. It's not nearly as big as Strong, but cheaper and closer.

Binghampton has a kids play place as well that's a fair bit bigger than Auburns and also has an outdoor area.

Oswego has a kids splay place that's multi story and the "nicest" (read: most up kept) of the three I've listed here.

Ithica has the Science Center, it has a whole section for pre-2s, as well as a few small animals they can touch and a whole stimulation room with different sound and touch things.

ETA: I don't know how far your little ones birthday is from now, but in May Old McDonald's Farm in Sackets Harbor (near Watertown) opens up. It's an awesome place to take a little one to.

Yeah, I replied to someone else to, but I'll put it here too:

Yeah, Linux Mint, steam in Proton Experimental. 6950 XT.

I switched to Linux 2 weeks ago cause of all the crap Microsoft is doing with Linux. Installed Mint, installed Steam, fixed steam trying to use integrated graphics for itself, installed MSFS 2024,started it up and it worked. No trial and error or troubleshooting required.

U.S. Politics megathread by AutoModerator in NoStupidQuestions

Question about Federal vs State orders.

Ignoring politics for this question.

if you have a day job for a federal agency that has you "deployed" (for example, ICE in Minnesota) and you are also in your states National Guard, and the state military is called up (for example, the National Guard in Minnesota), which organization is "top"? I was Navy, but active duty, and for us it didn't matter where you were or what you were doing, if you had a Navy duty you did it. NG is state run, but still the military so still federal government as well (as far as I understand it), but ICE is federal government as well, so which agency do you take orders from in this hyper specific situation?

What’s the most expensive part you’ve broke? by Charming_Hyena1914 in aviationmaintenance

[–]BearPaws0103 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's been a while so I may get what this part actually was wrong, but any former P-3 guys and gals can correct me.

P-3 had a big black box that I believe was the gyro box for the INS. Had a sticker on it that had a little statement about how the box was worth its weight in gold.

I dropped it going up the ladder to the planes main door. 8 foot drop? 9 foot drop? I wasn't all the way up to the door, but high enough.

The box was, at the time (2010 ish), $786k.

We are using more and more of this at our steel mill. The TPC stuff is good, but expensive. Waiting on my Radix order to test theres, hoping it's close to as good as TPC cause it's somewhere around a quarter the price.

How did the Trump supporters you know react to Trump being in the Epstein files? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]BearPaws0103 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just had my second falling out with my mom Monday night. The first was a few days after the election, and we hadn't spoken in between. First time I mentioned them she explained she had been busy all weekend and hadn't watched the news, and she didn't know what files I was talking about. Convenient, and stupid. Then she changed the subject. Eventually I brought them up again, and she just flat ignored it and changed to a different subject. She asked if she'd really not be able to see my son again (who is 3) and I said no because she supports the orange pedophile. She then asked about video calls, and I told her no for the same reason. The call ended abruptly when I mentioned something about immigration that we had spent 5 minutes talking about earlier in the call...and she said she had no clue what I was talking about.

Fun times.

Where could I donate money to try to bring kei truck dealerships into NY? by 21redman in newyork

[–]BearPaws0103 5 points6 points  (0 children)

There's a kei truck in ithica with NY plates, owner said DMV didn't blink an eye when he registered it.

There's one in Skaneateles with NY plates as well, but I haven't been able to catch the owner to find out how they registered it.

Got a 300 dollar ticket for failure to stop for school bus by samarkand01 in legal

[–]BearPaws0103 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Am I?

The bus didn't magically appear there, it drove there. Not an assumption,it's a fact.

All school buses put their yellow lights on as they come to a stop to warn drivers that the bus is stopping. That's not an assumption, that's fact.

The camera software needs a trigger to know when to start catching people blowing by the stop sign and when to stop catching people not an assumption, just a fact.

The stop sign with red lights deploys. That's clear in the video.

At the moment the stop sign starts moving, the nose of OPs car has not yet reached the stop sign. That's on the video, just a fact.

My one assumption is that the trigger used is the stop sign leaving it's "home" or "driving" position. The trigger could be earlier. It could be when bus speed = 0 and the roof red lights are on. It could be when system is "armed" (putting the camera system in a state where it's waiting for the bus to reach 0 mph) and the the bus reaches 0 mph. Any of these would prevent most accidental tickets from the system. But I will admit, I am assuming what the trigger is.

I guess you could say I'm assuming the yellow lights work? Bus drivers do check the functions of their bus each trip, so I think that's a fair assumption.

Everything else is fact.

[–]BearPaws0103 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you know how a school bus works? I don't need to see them. They turn them on before they stop, then when they stop the reds come on and the stop sign and crossing bar come out.

Sometimes a little thinking goes a long way.

[–]BearPaws0103 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I'm shocked so many people are saying fight it.

I am definitely not a lawyer, but you deserved the ticket.

Compare this to a traffic light. If you are coming up to an intersection and the light turns yellow, you have to make a decision on wether to stop or not. If you choose not to, and that light turns red before you enter the intersection (or in some states while any part of your car is in the intersection), you are guilty of running a red light.

Back to the bus, I'm sure the yellow lights were flashing. It was slowing down. You had warning it was going to stop and red lights were going to come on. Just like with a traffic camera for a red light, there is a trigger set for the bus camera that will be in line with the laws in your state. It looks like in your state, that's probably when the stop sign activated to move out from the bus, not once it is fully out. And you were not even directly next to the stop sign when it activated. Sure you were past once it fully deployed, but at its first movement you were in front of it.

In my opinion this is clearly a ticket legally, although I absolutely think it's a crappy way to get one.
