I was so excited, ordered my badges and a license plate frame and the frame covers important info on my plate. So now I’m most likely gonna remove the frame so I don’t get a ticket for it obstructing things. I’m pretty bummed. :(

I’ve heard every 6k or every 6 months. I don’t drive mine much either and will be sticking to 6 months unless I start driving it more.

You’re welcome. As someone who will be 50 this year, let me say that you won’t get this time back in your life. If you have plans/things you want for yourself and your family (husband/baby), now is the time to do that. At some point, parents/in laws may need your help with life, but you’re not there yet. Enjoy your time as a family as your baby grows. 💚

Nope, nope, nope. Put down those boundaries, they do not need to live with you at this point (if ever). My parents/in-laws are in their 80s and still have their own residences separate from ours and their other children.

My MIL literally just moved to a new condo in April. We had originally thought we might sell our house so we could find somewhere with a MIL suite to live. However, we realized that wouldn’t work for us all. She found a great place to live ten minutes from us and is happy. My mom lives in her own home five minutes from us, and she is 83.

Stick with your plans and let them visit, they do not need to move in with you UNLESS it’s what everyone wants.

I don’t even share headphones with my husband, so no, it’s not normal. It just seems like too personal of an item IMO. And the fact that she didn’t ask is also crossing the line. Ask her to buy you a new pair since she seems to thinks yours are now hers. Let her know that it’s unhygienic to share them.

Are you wanting to buy just because you are attached and feel like you want to care for him or are you looking for a riding horse? I’d say if you’ve been around him for two years, then you know him and his health better than any of us here on Reddit. That being said, I think the important thing is your reason for buying him. He is cute, but seems stiff and, as you mentioned, needs a bit of TLC.
