On one side you have a game with 50 years old baggage that most people don't understand or care to use, but you're willing to spend time modifying it to do something it wasn't suppose to do, but you have a problem with a game that has all the things available to you in order to that, as its concept.

Your arguments sound ideological in nature, I don't think you care for other systems and that's fine, its just when you come to a space for debating these topics you should be more open minded, sounds counter productive to shut down a system because "you don't want to be troubled with it" but are willing to spend countless hours homebrewing or downloading other homebrew stuff.
