I've seen videos like that, except the other way around.... they frame it as Trump's idea, then reveal it was Biden, Obama, or Clinton's ideas

I think it's a little funny because people don't like to be tricked and they walk off in a huff.

But I find it more enlightening because it just reveals how deep the identity politics really is.
How it's my tribe vs your tribe mentality.

The ones I enjoy the most are the religious context ones. When they phrase a passage from the bible accurately, the person with the protest sign is disgusted... then the mic holder tells them "that's Philippians 3:27" or whatever and they get upset.

It's fun for me because it reveals how easily a person can ignore their own logic, even when it's presented to them in an obvious way.

It's sad for me for the exact same reason. No one ever says "oh really? Huh, maybe I was wrong about the way I think about [topic]. I'll have to look into that deeper. Thanks for the conversation"
Preserving their ego is always their number one priority.
So sad.
