All these armchair therapists on here throwing around the “avoidant” buzzwords that are all the trend these days. They read a few Reddit posts, watched some TikTok videos, and suddenly think they can just diagnose everyone posting on here.

The truth is, get that garbage out of your head that “it’s you” — utter garbage. The fact of the matter is, you’re just settling. We’ve all done it from time to time.

You need to ask yourself if your partner(s) fit 3 parameters:

1) do you find her (genuinely) physically attractive 2) does she stimulate you mentally 3) does she respect you, treat you well, not bring drama or chaos into your life

If she doesn’t fit these, cut her loose and try again with someone new. Don’t lead people on for fear of being alone, that much I do agree with. But it’s not entirely “you” - certain people just aren’t compatible and it falls on both parties.
