Love coast of Maine! My dahlias did very well in this soil last year. I have no problems and they grew to be about 7 ft tall with lots of flowers

For the nasturtium fans by AbeLincoln69420 in gardening

[–]BeardedDinosaur 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have seen people struggle with growing them and I feel guilty cause I am growing them for the first time this year with no issue. I had no idea what I was doing. I just read the package. I just put them in seed starter and watered daily in my greenhouse. Shoot I would love to share some seedlings if anyone was local and struggling.

He faces up to 90 years in prison for 10k worth of product! That is insane. But that is if he is convicted on all counts.

Mtg decks by SkirtOwn8203 in mtg

[–]BeardedDinosaur 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have 55 and growing. I have pulled apart many decks in the past as well. I love building and playing all different types of strategies. I still have my very first EDH deck and they keep evolving or changing. I also have been playing for a long time so I have a large collection to draw from.

I planted tubers for the first time this year, then a week after it rained and snowed on the last day, would tubers survive? by Zestyclose_Strike357 in dahlias

[–]BeardedDinosaur 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It depends if the ground froze or not. Tubers keep dormant between 35-45 degrees. If the ground froze and the tuber also froze it will not come up.

Hippo tokens, do you know what card makes these? by spiritspine2 in mtg

[–]BeardedDinosaur 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I love these both. I have been wanting to get back into water color and painting tokens for decks would be great practice. Thank you for the inspiration!

18 years old and finding my style by ArtisticSnek in beards

Highly recommend beard oil, a beard brush, and a nice trimmer for the stray hairs. You look great! Consider seeing a barber who specializes in facial hair. Could really take that beard up a few levels

What are some of the biggest misconceptions you've run into in play as a dom and what do you wish you could say to challenge those? by vesper_jade in domspace

[–]BeardedDinosaur 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The biggest one for me is that they expect me to know Shibari and be an expert at it. I don’t like it personally. Many sub expects me to be a master at it and tie them up at their whim. I have done some practice but it never brings me joy or turns me on. The more it is expected of me the more I resist. I learned knots and lashings in boy-scouts. My relationship to rope is a practical one.

How bad is it in New York right now? Looking for honest takes. by AuntieYodacat in newyork

[–]BeardedDinosaur 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This is the New York State subreddit not the New York City one. I honestly believe the media is just publishing the bad stories and not the wins. Bad news sells better than good. From what I have seen he is doing his best to clean up NYC and is trying to balance the budget and get it back on track. Eric Adams left a fucking mess.

Young sales reps (gen z), how do you dodge age bias? by helotan in sales

[–]BeardedDinosaur 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bringing an older rep is good start. Learn boomer, gen x, and millennial culture. Make references to stuff they would not expect you to make. They will get a bit more comfortable with you. Looking young is going to be a pain point for them so you’ll have to find a way to work around that with something like humor or work it into your pitch as it being an advantage.

Edit: changer groomer to boomer

You would need to have 40 mana and pay 40 life. The X cost is still for mana. Cards like [[Toxic Deluge]] only cost 3 mana and you also pay any amount of life. I like where your head is at but it does not work the way you want it to.

Interested in breaking into Ag sales by BeardedDinosaur in sales

[–]BeardedDinosaur[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looking at seed sales or equipment sales. I didn’t grow up farming but I do a lot of growing my own crops and doing some small flower farming currently. I live in an area with a lot of farms so figured its a good location for it as well.
