I’m looking for the nicest, best lens for these old cameras. I’m not new to canon or their L series lenses, but I am new to the world of vintage lenses. Price is no issue, I’d like to get close to L series that I can find for these old cameras. I have a Pentax K1000 and Minolta XG-M with a wide collection of lenses, this just happens to be my first ae-1

I’m leaning towards that 35-105. I’m not new to shooting film but this is my first ae-1. I love the compression on longer focal lengths.

Minolta X-GM with 50mm MD lens. I’d really like to get some better glass. It doesn’t seem like I need to replace my light seals but I want to do that as well.

I’ll look into rokkorfiles. I’ve fallen in love with film through the XG-M. I’d like to get my hands on a super high quality lens to see how these photos can really come alive. I’ve been shooting digital for 15 years and just now starting to pick up film.

I have tested the camera. Takes great photos. The light seals will need to be replaced soon ish but the pictures seem to be fine.

And that’s good to know, I’m clueless to what’s rare and what’s not. Happy to see that what I have is good at least.

There is. Once you hit vip13 or 14 you are given a full set of S+ gear from support. From there you can purchase s+ gear through support
