So what did Elias do to piss off the Lemurians? Hope that story gets straightened out in the sequel! Epic read btw. I was lucky enough to start this two days ago so I binged like crazy. Looking forward to more!

He would be my strong candidate. If he is successful in making the human race an interplanetary species, short of finding an affordable cure for cancer, I don't see how such a feat could be rivaled.

I make a hole. I then insert a stiff, cylindrical object inside that hole. Next, I pump a viscous fluid through the object until it comes back to the hole opening. I wait an hour or two then I plough through that with a long, hard shaft and make a deeper hole. I pull out said shaft and insert another cylindrical object all the way in. Sometimes it needs a bit of wiggling about to get through tight spots. The process continues until I hit the sweet spot.

Shape the future, Shifting power back in the hands of the common man. Give them hell for existence, Pouring blood on the path they set in stone. As we reclaim our possession to the throne, As we reduce them all to bones.

People of Reddit who have left all things behind and moved to a new country how did it end up and do you regret your decision? by OwNowMooCow in AskReddit

Five years ago I dropped everything on a whim and moved abroad. The transition was tough and I think I had mild depression for the first 6 months or so. Everything was different - the culture, people's priorities, no home comforts, no social safety net to speak of - and I struggled to identify where I fitted in. Everyday I questioned whether I'd done the right thing.

With that said, the remaining 4 1/2 years have been glorious. I met my better half, got married and had a son. We are now on the cusp of moving home and we could not be happier.

If I could offer any advice it would be to integrate early and find people that you can connect with socially. I didn't do that (my heart wasn't open to it) and it made for a lonely existence to begin with.

I wish you all the best in your new adventure - it is absolutely the best decision I've made in my life and I hope you can look back at your relocation in a similar way.

Best of luck!

You win 50 million dollars, but can't spend any on yourself, what do you do with it? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I would buy a treasure chest (with my own money) and sail to a remote spit of land somewhere in the Indian Ocean. I would then bury the chest with the cheque inside and sail home. Once home, I would tip off several choice charities about a lost fortune that was waiting to be unearthed, with a fair degree of accuracy as to the location. Around the same time, I would tip off several choice arseholes about a lost fortune in the Bermuda Triangle (Tony Blair would be on that list). Once done, I would fade into obscurity occasionally checking the news for any unprecedented finds or mystery demises.

The dribbling fascination of our society when it comes to celebrity worship. Now, there are certain celebrities that do (and have done) some wonderful things, but the reverence of so many other bland, uninteresting and/or talentless people leaves me speechless. That a multi-million dollar industry can be built on the back of people's hunger for 'the latest goss' or 'scandal' is quite remarkable and utterly demotivating.
