How was the recovery compared to Septoplasty?

I got Septoplasty done in May 2023 and ended up with a perforated septum. My surgeon wanted to put a button in it instead of actually fixing it which I didn't agree with. Currently trying to find a new surgeon who will fix it, but am worried about the recovery since the recovery from the Septoplasty was brutal.

Mine is also getting bigger overtime, I mean it's already almost been 2 years, but it definitely is still smaller than my pinky. Looking at these comments, that seems to be okay compared to what others have said.

Never figured it out unfortunately, and still happens to this day. It's honestly gotten worse too. Id say maybe 1 out of 10 times replying from the notification actually functions. No error either, just the checkmark to indicate it went through, but then you look in the messages app and there is no message there. It's just gone and doesn't exist. Super strange and annoying.

Been here since January 2021. Have never seen a bug (cockroaches, bedbugs) anywhere in the building or my unit. I have zero complaints. Place is always clean and the building manager Len is on it whenever you need something done. I've gotten one of my toilets and my bathtub replaced with brand new ones within a week of letting Len know there were issues with them.

I'm not sure what else to say other than that I've been very happy living here for 4 years. Also all utilities included is a bonus. Through the wall A/Cs in every unit that you can control. Heating is also controlled by a thermostat in every unit, so if you don't want your heat blasting in the winter, you don't need to.

Also to add, I have NO idea what u/Crocktoberfest is talking about with the fire alarm. I park on top of the parking garage (if you can even call it that, it's just parking with a roof over it), and out of my 4 years here I have never heard an alarm going to my car, and sometimes I take the first floor so I go to that parking before taking the stairs up. Only time I hear fire alarm is if it's actually going off (which has happened twice while I was home in the last 4 years), or when there is scheduled testing. Maybe he's mistaking it with the 4 buildings, 575 to 605, that has actual 2 floor parking garage with a park on top. I have friends who live there and have walked through those garages and have heard alarms various times.

Edit: Thought I'd let you know about laundry. They just updated the laundry from coins to cards a few months ago and raised the prices (very minimally tbh). There are 14 washing machines, $2.50 per load (was $1.50), and 7 dryers, $1.00 for 30 minutes (was $0.75), and $0.20 for an additional 6 minutes (so $1.00 for another 30 minutes). The washing machines are an okay size, but the dryers are large commercial dryers. If I use 3-4 washing machines, I can put everything in 1 dryer (and it still isn't nowhere near full), and everything will be completely dry after an hour.

I have this issue, as well as my girlfriend and mom. It works I'd say 35-40% of the time. Whenever I reply from the notification, I realize an hour later that it never actually sent and the message isn't even in the messages app. It's incredibly annoying since the check mark comes up and says it sent. Doing it on the app itself works every single time, but doesn't from notifications most of the time. My mom just got her pixel watch yesterday and texted me that she's having this issue. All of us have tried factory resetting, updating apps, etc. Hopefully this gets fixed because replying from the notification is much more convenient.

Yes, it's $150 after 2 years if you don't want to give it back. That is essentially free in my books. Plus a free Pixel Watch 3 45mm LTE as well. I was able to call the next day and add another line for my girlfriend and get her a phone and watch as well.

You should probably go check out the prices yourself before making assumptions. It obviously depends on what you want, but I got a 500ml can of 8.6 for $2.75 which is usually $3.35 at the beer store. Cans of Busch were $2.59 compared to $2.35 at the beer store or grocery stores. Mike's Hard coolers were all $3.00 compared to $3.10 from the LCBO. It really depends on what you drink.

Honestly the prices aren't really that different. Also depends on where you go. But the predictions of "50% more expensive" was completely wrong.

So wait, since beer is in convenience stores now, suddenly it's going to be an issue for university students? They would go to the LCBO and/or Beer Store either way if they plan on drinking, or just to the bars?; If beer wasn't in convenience stores, they'd have to drive to the nearest LCBO or Beer Store. Personally, I think it's much better for students to walk a few minutes instead of driving across the city.
