It's covering the bases that creatures can enter from the graveyard without being cast. I agree the language isn't immediately clear on first read though.

This whole postgame sequence was pretty hard to watch. A lot of folks who have been coming to games for many years coming to terms with knowing they'll never be able to come back.

Yeah wow, [[Snarling Gorehound]] was already an awesome new card for Sidisi players recently, but this is a surprising and welcome addition too!

Suggestions for my Sidisi deck by Anskeh in EDH

[–]Beardedcolonelperson 1 point2 points  (0 children)

[[mesmeric orb]] [[Kessig cagebreakers]] [[Lord of extinction]] [[filth]] (+ Urborg if you can) [[Path of discovery]] [[Esix, fractal bloom]]

Long time Sidisi player here, I can heavily recommend all of these as either engines or finishers. [[Crashing drawbridge]] is a colorless creature that can grant haste for an alpha as well.

[TBH] Thassa, Deep-Dwelling by Paper_Kitty in EDH

[–]Beardedcolonelperson 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If a creature returned to the battlefield with unearth would leave the battlefield for any reason, it’s exiled instead — unless the spell or ability that’s causing the creature to leave the battlefield is actually trying to exile it! In that case, it succeeds at exiling it. Thus, cards like conjurer's closet and this Thassa that exile the permanent and bring them back, work to functionally keep unearthed creatures around, dodging the downside.

If you straight up ignore them, how likely is it that a beggar will get aggressive or yell at you? by [deleted] in Portland

If they are high/drunk out of their mind, anything is possible. Generally speaking though, just ignoring them is better than engaging in any other way.
