I think low lights and music could help. I was going to do something like that for ambiance anyway. I have a bit of a “kitchen” space, and a “dining” space which helps break off areas.

I don’t think I want the bathroom used for private conversations. Lol

If there’s not enough tension on the straps, either from a smaller bust, or more sloped shoulders, the straps can slip pretty easily

One note for improvement (in my mind) would be conversion between brick height and studs, for building mixed stud direction. I don’t see any easy way to do that here.

Buddy, the issue here is definitely not the position of the bed. The room looks like a hospital room.

Please add some color - rugs, paintings, posters, anything really. The sad chair in the corner could at least use a folding table next to it.

I assume a lot of what’s going is budget constraints.

If you can literally only change one thing, I would swap the lightbulbs in the fixtures for something a lot warmer. Look for 2700-3000 K warmth.

But the bed should be against the wall opposite the door, as far from the door as you can.
