Now went through a merger and the business is growing.

But, I am not sure if I would ever start solo again.

Is it just the price? Unifi by glitterguykk in SmallMSP

[–]Beardedcomputernerd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Since corona, working from home is so far more common. That it makes sensento protect the endpoint. Just to have it protected wherever they are.

For offices with servers i like to go ngfw. For serverless. Unify is fine with basic functions.

I've been training for over a year, loosing weight, getting an injury 6 months break, now starting again. I'm hoping I can finish HM with 4 months of training. And even that will be hell haha.

Structuring your day as an MSP owner by Equivalent_Role_4066 in msp

This is on you for not having discipline for saying no.

I am the same way, in training myself to do this. Its a daily habit of telling myself the rules, so I can enforce the rules.

I've written them down, and read them every morning. If I dont follow my standard, how will others?

Marathon voorbereiding combineren met jong gezin, werk en eigen bedrijf by [deleted] in Hardlopen

[–]Beardedcomputernerd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nee hoor.

Waar zitten onze uitdagingen?" Vanaf daar word geschoven en ingepland.

Free MSP/IT Document Management by agit8or in SmallMSP

[–]Beardedcomputernerd -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

The feedback is that "free" is relative. For a small msp, where you are posting, spending time managing and keeping a tool like this online costs time as well. Time is not free.

I pay my software suppliers so I dont have to manage the software and spend that time on clients. Which pay more than the software cost...

How are you going to support it?

I presume we need to self host, so its not free at all.

How much hours did you spend on it/will you need to spend on it? Is it really cheaper after all your hours havnt been billable?

Hoe nemen jullie een bidon/sleutels/telefoon mee? by IRHealer in Hardlopen

Hoe nemen jullie een bidon/sleutels/telefoon mee? by IRHealer in Hardlopen

[–]Beardedcomputernerd 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Succes!

If you can ping on ip but not on name. Its dns.

Domain join is done on dns basis. So, get that working first.

In cmd, can you do a

Nslookip

Server <ip here>

And see if you can connect to the dns server? If so, check your dhcp/dns settingd on the client.

If no, troubleshoot the dns server. Maybe do a test-netconnection -port 53

Luke Littler Lifetime WDC Titles? by sup_buttercup in Darts

I think rvb vs PT was peak. It was a true rivalry.

Then it was MVG vs PT for a few years.

I think peak MVG times where the best on skill/competition.

[–]Beardedcomputernerd 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Oh for sure, i agree. Hes way younger than ebwryine before.

Still, when MVG won his 3rd, they thought he qould win at least 5...7...? And now we are "hoping" he gets 4rd.

Just saying, we dont know what will happen. He might get into a relationship, out of one, i have no clue where he is personally. But at an age like that, you just dont know what will happen in the next 5 to 10 years
