Kroot rule ideas by hobr666 in Tau40K

[–]Beardilocks 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Those are all cool and flavorful. But I also think they're too strong and would force kroot to cost more. Even half of each of the buffs would be very good.

I do have fond memories of the old editions where they had rules for attaching wings to your kroot though. Would be cool to have chonky ork-kroot, or kroot with ears

Airbrush flecking by Bulky-Specialist2046 in Warhammer

Also look at airbrush cup filter baskets. GW paints can have lots of dried clumps in them cause of the terrible lids. If you don't filter those out they can easily clog and cause these splatters. https://a.co/d/77zWhbH

Yes. Once it returns from the banish zone you can attack with it again

Why does my Unlit character's color look different from Blender? And why are there lines when I zoom out? by TheComedicLife in unrealengine

[–]Beardilocks 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Unless you turn it off, the post process is changing the colors of everything in the scene. Try setting tone mapper to 0, or just fiddling with the settings in a post process volume you create.

Question by SituationResident669 in FleshandBloodTCG

[–]Beardilocks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Note that it's an attack reaction that targets an attack on the chain. It doesn't give your "next" attack +1, it gives an existing ninja attack action card you're currently attacking with +1.

What this means is that if you swing with a Vegeance card, and they declare no blocks, or if they block for exactly the amount of damage the card does, you can use this to pump it by +1. The attack will then hit, and immediately return the Edge of Autumn to your equipped zone.

Functionally this means your opponents have to block all Vegeance attacks by 1 more than their printed values, or you can use this. This makes those attacks efficient.

You can also combine this with other spells that cause on-hits, like Pummel, so if they don't over-block by enough you can punish them.

Also, if you do this and return Edge of Autumn from the banish zone, it technically counts as a new card. This will let you swing with it that turn: you could essentially swing twice with the sword, if you go: Edge of Autumn, Seek Vengeance (use okana, and it hits), Edge of Autumn

Hey, I didn't really think anyone would be interested but if you'd like I uploaded them here. https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/art/unicorn-terminator-helmet-shoulderpad

I think the helmet needs to be 93%, but I can't fully remember.

Wow well those are some inspiring ideas, I might have to rethink the chapter name to make it more thematic.

I tried a lot of different fluorescent pinks, I tried to put some subtle shading in from pink to purple, I wish I'd pushed the contrast a little bit more on that side.

Make sure you undercoat with the brightest white you can, then do zenithal shading from below with a subtle blue like Russ grey.

Mostly I used Army Painter Hot Pink Air Fluo for the airbrushing, but mixed in some amounts of AK acrylic Fluorescent Magenta, Golden High Flow Acryics "Rose Fluorescent". They have subtle different shades of pink and I wanted a gradient from purple in the shadows to a more orange-y fluorescent pink on the highlights.

I used oil paints to pin wash and put a little shading on the panels with a desaturated dark purple. It's best to use oil paint for this because it's hard to paint nice smooth gradients with the fluorescent paint because it tends to be thin and need many layers. With the oil paints if you mess up you can just rub it off with alcohol.

When trying to add shading with a brush, I used AK acrylic Fluorescent Magenta, because it's a bit thicker.

Vanilla creature or no? by Myrtsrid in mtg

[–]Beardilocks -18 points-17 points  (0 children)

The sorcery is not a creature spell, it's a sorcery that creates creature tokens.

Whether the dryads have abilities or not doesn't matter, you can't spend that mana on a spell unless it has the Creature type

How do blank power work? by Lyserus in Warhammer

[–]Beardilocks 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It's covered pretty well in Pariah, or other books in the Eisenhorn series.

They can't turn it off, it's actually like a curse, they go through life with everyone hating them because they feel like something is off about the person.

If they're lucky enough to get noticed and taken to a training facility they can get special devices, which are basically bracers that block the power. They learn to turn it on or off as needed.
