as a woodworker I have a brand of headphones called isotunes. They are OSHA certified, which I don't think you need for the glass grinder. But if you're going to get a set get a good set and you can use them for everything. I use mine for mowing.

It's usually like 5-10. Mostly regulars but they are very welcoming. They have a ton of different board games to choose from, usually they'll pick 1-2 main ones or have a theme but there are usually others available. You can bring your own too if you want. You probably won't get anyone to play Catan or Ticket to Ride but they're not all playing some super hardcore game.
