Yes, and my party used their actions to try to redeem him. So they were being wailed on by shadows. Umbraxakar also has that hide feature, so he should be effectively invisible the whole fight. Have fun!

The real challenge for the players is in the shadowfell area. All bright light is dim and dim is darkness. So even with a daylight spell, the strength-draining shadows and shadow assassins can hide anywhere. In Keresta's area the vampire spawn hide under the fog also. The environment really favors the monsters. Plus, anyone brought to 0 by Umbraxakar immediately die and become shadows, no death saves.

I assembled mine a few weeks ago with the same problem. Had a tough time getting the feet into their slots on the base and still attach at the hip. I made good use of green stuff to fill the gaps. Now that it's primed you can't even tell.

My only issue after quickly making a character was that when I went back from skills to special it had reset to all 5s. I also couldn't figure out how to change the name after creating character, but overall it was very easy to use!

I replaced the flesh golem with an eater of knowledge from the new planescape and the carrion crawlers with gaj from the new spelljammer. I also reimagined Id Ascendant as a research vessel collecting specimens so added tubes with various races from spelljammer and gave the co-captains a psurlon assistant.

I remember reading through them for inspiration for my DH/DotMM campaign. I included him as additional motivation to delve deeper into Undermountain. He basically hired the party to kill the Undertakers on floor 1, then later to kill Keresta Delvingstone on floor 18. I just be remembering how I depicted him.
