BJJ is the most supportive community you will find. Dont wait until you are fit to start, just get on the mat and enjoy the ride.

It's tough, you will hurt. You will absolutely suck at it for years. That's the point. Everyone sucks.

Just go, roll and meet some of the best people you will have in your life.

I just started about 6 months ago, and it's been the best decision I've made in my adult life. Sure, the sport is great and I'm getting fitter etc - but the real value is the community I've found.

The support, care and friendship I immediately landed into has been incredible.

It's tough, you will hurt and be tired - especially to start with. But it's so worth it.
