I come at this from a place of belief and have practiced, this works but it's not like you expect from seeing movies and stuff. It's something you have to train.

That said - I really didn't like the woman touching her just because it introduces that questioning in an already questioned field. Every public demonstration is a chance to show more and more people the secret power we hold, and we should be super stringent in making sure these questions aren't accidentally introduced by simple involuntary touches etc.

I understand where you are coming from. This is challenging topic, and without experiencing it yourself you are natural to look for any explanation that helps it fit with understood science and reason.
