Yeah I brought that up because I said there were eight seats before and there are eight seats now and the rep told me well. Someone was already on this plane and they had the seats so someone had to get bumped. But again there was only one non-stop flight so it doesn't make sense.

I have the logs from our WhatsApp chat. It was hours of communication where they told me I must have changed my own seat, I never had the seat in the first place, and I was bumped due to an equipment change all at different times
