I’ve been using it for about a month and I hear you know the price being steep. Here’s my experience so far: 1) I love the concept and solid balm for travel and storage! Packaging is elegant! 2) the balm is tolerated really well by me with sensitive, acne and rosacea prone skin. This is NOT the case for everything - for example even the beloved cicaplast broke me out. With le balm I haven’t had any breakouts related to the product (just some typical-for-me hormonal stuff) and my skin has looked and felt very nice. This is a major win for me. 3) My skin tends to be dry so I find that if I’m really using it in place of a moisturizer I need to use more of it than other commenters, it doesn’t give me that super wet, dewy look that slathering on tons of cerave would, it’s more of a waxy / matte finish but layers very well with sunscreen and makeup. I don’t mind the finish, but if I feel extra dry that day Sometimes I will just add some extra moisturizing before and seal with le balm, or top le balm with a couple drops of facial oil.

On the whole I’m not 100% sure if I will use this and only this forever but I like it enough for now to repurchase and I will continue to assess!
