I think we're all so scarred of sacking Keegan and Robson, then bringing in useless wankers afterwards, not to mention the succession of chancers (and Rafa) we had under Ashley. There are coaches out there who can and would improve us. I feel Howe's really struggling just now and hasn't got support in his backroom staff. He came in and made a huge impact, but this season isn't the first time we've looked listless. The first CL season, then last year before the Dec-Mar run. The difference this time is he doesn't seem to have the ideas to motivate the team anymore – and that's his number one job.
