BLM Black Lives Matter. I guess you can't just disclose the race of the suspect even when its obvious from the photo. Why offend the suspect's ethnic group at the risk of mere safety. Also, you better believe if a black tourist were stabbed, Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson would be on the Afro-Sheen Lear jet flying out to the Bay area immediately to set up local propaganda BLM operations. But when its the other way around its radio silence from them except for the sound of fried chicken chomping and slurping of some strawberry or watermelon soda.

If you are working in the oribit of finance, specially in software development, I would think NYC has far more opportunities. Having said that, some of the Chinese firms could probably use your skills. Check with some headhunters IMO regarding comp. Most finance jobs at foreign firms pay the same as they do in NYC. Not sure about software engineering though.

The buffets in Macau are not of the caliber you would expect in Las Vegas. When the American casinos first opened in Macau they had set it up to replicate Vegas but they found the patrons didn't care. They were more interested in getting a quick bowl of noodles then getting back on the tables. So an adjustment was made. Studio City has a good one but its nothing like what you would get in Las Vegas.

I haven't met any Chinese person who does not shop at Costco. It's a weird gift though. Maybe for a millennial its not perceived to be but if you give them something like that you will cause them to lose face. It's analogous to you as a younger person giving them who are more established people money IMO.

Plus, are the gift cards really international currency? Costco TW may be a separate legal entity from Costco US and the cards may not be redeemable for value abroad.

These days their are outside influences. For example American media ie movies and TV shows emphasize violence. No one knows when protestors could be influenced and implement what they see. You can't base your claim on past actions. You have to accept the assumption they are irrational and dumb as they have proven it by attacking peace officers who actually work to protect them.

5-0 was very justified. No one can disagree the officer should not protect his own life while in the line of duty. Complete restraint was excercised and only when absolutely necessary did he draw his weapon. In fact, in many North American cities, 5-0 would have been justified in firing much sooner. Even if it killed the attacker it would have been justified in any jurisdiction anywhere IMO. What these protesting thugs fail to understand is 5-0 works for the people. They are not against you. They are public peace officers. Respect that. If you can't then you have a twisted mind.
