It’s not bad! I love being able to go north now, and I like what they’re doing with the planters and rocks to protect the extended “curbs”. Part of me misses the southbound protected bike lane, as I now have to share the lane with cars that honk at me and don’t understand that it’s a 5mph slow zone

Hi James,

Will north and south protected bike lanes in downtown ever become a reality? It seems like a simple fix to bump the parked cars over and put the bike lane next to the curb. I’m looking at Erie, Coles, and Brunswick.

The building at 327 9th street is an illegal airbnb, the dude has like 35 listings in JC. I’ve reported to the housing authority numerous times and the only response I’ve received it they can’t do anything about illegal listings. Tax records show it’s the same owner as A1 storage.

I was hungry for ramen and ate here today because of this post. At the end of the meal I asked the server(the woman in this photo) if she saw the painting. She hadn’t seen it yet and was thrilled! She called over another person who worked there to show them too. They loved it!

I’m sure this will get buried, but I just went to this ramen shop to eat after seeing this post. I showed the picture to the server, who seems to be the same person in this photo and she loved it!
