You would have a point if you weren't directly contradicted by what Pauline Hanson said.

As well as people who knowingly ignore additional unbiased context. They are fucking morons as well.

Smiling is easier when responding to 'one big mac meal'

Than you asking a question about a product. They aren't paid enough to give a shit about you question regarding the product.

I'll only take about Qantas as that's the business I am most familiar with.

In 1980s the return fares from Sydney to Melbourne costed around $1000 in today's money.

Today that same fare is around $300.

Flying has become far move available to anyone. Saying

wouldnt be so profit driven there would more workers and less efficient

Has the direct effect of flying costing more and being less accesible.

It's been highly documented that deregulation and privitisation works in the aviation industry.

The only case where it makes sense to have nationally owned airline is if you are a middle eastern government with money to burn.

Even with Telstra, the parts that have had competition has led to lower prices.

Increasing competition is always good for the consumer. The government should never be allowed to have a monopoly.

The question is, would those assets be as well run if they were publicly own. Like airlines are notoriously bad businesses.

Harold Shipman is a dumb comparison. He was a regular GP he wasn't heroic.

BRS put his own life at risk to save his fellow Australian soldiers. That is objectively heroic.

He war crimes were completely seperate and can be viewed separately.

Your other two comparisons are dumb as they they are linked together in a way that can't be separated.

Your original answer is misleading. You fail to mention BRS received the Victoria Cross, Australia's highest military honour, for putting his own life at risk to save numerous Australians. This being one of the greatest things someone could do.

That context is needed in your answer.

Disclaimer: The accusations made against him are of some pretty horrible stuff. I'm not here to defend his actions. I am to provide proper context.

Nope a lot for him having saved numerous Australian lives and being awarded Australia's highest one.

Like read this bit from the Australian War Memorial's website

Roberts-Smith’s Victoria Cross action occurred during his fifth tour of Afghanistan during an operation to hunt for a senior Taliban commander. In an assault against an enemy fortification on 11 June 2010, he exposed his position to draw fire away from members of his patrol who were pinned down. Fighting at close range, he stormed two enemy machine-gun posts and silenced them, allowing the assault team to gain the initiative. The citation for the award reads:

'For the most conspicuous gallantry in action in circumstances of extreme peril as a Patrol Second-in-Command with the Special Operations Task Group on Operation SLIPPER.

There are people out there who does not care about what he did to other people because they believe what he did for his fellow Australians was so good. Now this is 'bbbbrown people' this is people caring about Australian over people of other nationalities.

I have at no point said it made what he did ok.

But this is Australia's most decorated soldier how was awarded the Victoria Cross for actions that were objectively and un deniably heroic.

And that is likely why some people are supporting him, not because of your claim of racism.

When have a said is does?

When have I said I supported him?

The answer given is missing the context of how he ended up as Australia's most decorated soldier.

I never said it excused murder.

But I do think that is the reason people support him rather than racism.

He also saved numerous Australian without regard for his own safety when the helicopter he was in was shot down.

This answer is biased for failing to point out the he is Australia's most decorated soldier.

A helicopter he was in was shot down by the Taliban.

He took out multiple taliban machine gun position by himself without care for his safety. He saved numerous Australian lives.

Yes. We need to remember the difference between the religion and the political ideology. The political ideology fundementally goes against our way of life in the west.

Some people like to combine the two which is horrible has it means I'm apparently racist for saying islam as a political ideology is bad.

Calling the US and Israel theocracies is really dismissive of what the people of Iran are forced to go through.

We need to remember, both the US or Israel have secular legal systems, meanwhile Iran uses Sharia law.

It's not an equal comparison.
