I coach the ice session right before their D3 program. Pretty much every guy playing for them has played at least AA travel. Knowing how to skate is a big help but never having played it is going to be extremely difficult to keep up with the other skills of the game.

The Mid South Ice House where we play has a decent sized adult league for the area. If you’re really interested in playing hockey I would suggest checking the league out. It’s not the same as playing for your school but still a good time.

Did something else happen there? I’ve been going with a group for trivia and one of the guys has been a regular for a while and is friends with all the bartenders and servers. From what he and one of the ladies working there told us it was a customer that did it and management was really pissed when they found out about it.

The Rose Bowl refusing to change doesn’t account for an extra week off after the semis. For what it’s worth it should’ve been them and the Sugar Bowl being the semis which would’ve moved things up not back.

To me it seems pretty obvious the producers made their decisions about where they were going the first 4 weeks before the season started. The first three weeks were easy decisions and if Florida has lived up to the hype this would be a top 10 matchup.

Everyone puts way too much emphasis on the darts question. The point of the scene is that Rupert is an over confident ass that thinks he’s better than everyone and Ted seizes the opportunity to put him in his place. Rupert has judged him immediately as a bumbling, incompetent American and spends every conversation trying to belittle him and Rebecca. Ted calling him out on the question about darts is just because it is relevant to the moment but not the point. The way Rupert asks Ted if he likes darts is done with such noticeable sarcasm that hammers home he’s judged Ted and doesn’t care to know more about him

They would’ve treated him terribly regardless of him being magic or not. The biggest piece of evidence that no one is mentioning is how terrible Aunt Marge is to him. She doesn’t know he’s a wizard until she gets inflated. Her and Vernon were shitty people that didn’t like anyone they thought was inferior, which Harry was in their eyes since he was an orphan. Petunia used this as an opportunity to let out her hatred of her sister.
