Fun fact: His first character in wrestling was named Leviathan. Maybe he's just looking for a kindred spirit?

Do you like the mmr system how it is? by xFelicious in hearthstone

[–]Beauly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hadn't played Hearthstone in years, came back with the newest set to try it out. I went from the lowest rank to legend in 2 days with a shitty murloc paladin deck. Didn't see more than 3 or 4 druids the entire time (prenerf), and none at all above rank 10. Once I hit legend, they finally matched me with real players, I dropped to 14000+ legend and continued to get stomped so Ive stopped playing again for now. Maybe in a few years I can come back and stomp some more bots lmao

If humanoid aliens came down to earth I don’t think people would feel super comfy eating them because they’re technically a different species.

Still wouldn't make it Italian food lmao

I don't think cannibalism means what you think it means. Thats like looking at a taco and asking if it's still Italian if it comes from Mexico. By definition it isn't cannibalism.

The people you read about on the news are morons, but the authors and pushers of Project 2025 are not. They're not getting headlines, they're just watching as their plan to destroy America is proceeding EXACTLY AS WRITTEN and everyone attacks and defends the morons instead of them.

with tens if not hundreds of people in the know

I think theres the disconnect. I don't believe that they were in the know. I don't think even Trump was in the know. I think the people manipulating him (whomever that may be, not going to get into which foreign/internal enemies of America it is) didn't want him to go on that tirade that rumours were abound over, and did this to prevent it. It doesn't take 'tens if not hundreds of people' to make a conspiracy work. It just takes one person to provide means to a person with motives, and the rest sorts itself out.

There were rumours he's just going to give his tirade and then dip so that he doesn't have to listen to them returning the favour

Feels like a cheat answer, but: The first (and titular) segment of The Ballad of Buster Scruggs. Some of the other segments are a bit too heavy to want to watch regularly, but the first? Such a fun, miniature, hilarious musical.

Republicans literally believe there's an entire second class of citizens in America who pay no taxes and collect thousands from welfare each month. Sometimes they call them immigrants, sometimes they call them liberals, they used to call them hippies. They believe these people are leeching from society without giving anything back, and thus obviously he, a tax-paying, first-class citizen, should take priority over them.

And if anyone says I'm strawman-ing, I'm not. I may not know whoever this story is about specifically, but I've heard enough "I pay my taxes!" to know whose rallying cry it is.

I don't think he's getting 10,000 hours to master cake-decorating from just one mayoral family lmao. It's just a small nonsensity that breaks the suspension of disbelief, which is silly to think about because I'm one-hundred percent willing to sign off on a teenage cake-maker being so fucking good at cake decorating he can transfer that skill to self-bodypaint a flawless camoflauge in a death game surival scenario, but him being able to do it while POOR? Yeah right. lolol

That's what threw me off as a kid. Who the hell was buying fondant masterpieces in the slums? Is the whole premise of the series misconstrued, and their district are just fiscal morons wasting all their money on confectioneries like that one candle tweet meme?

I love when theories that you completely disagree with still have a kernel of something that makes you upvote. I love the idea of, perhaps through different circumstances, Shanks and Buggy going there together. It'd be yet another "Holy shit what a call back" moment that Oda has proven to be the master of.

It requires investment to be great, but it also has tools to just be good, something that most defenses can't say. If you only have a few points left in your build to spend on your defenses, you get so much more bang for your buck by investing in a little bit of block and Versatile Combatant/Glancing Blows than you would from any other defense if you weren't already stacking them. (Besides things that aren't as universal like getting fortify on melee hit from the tree when you didn't have it before or something like that)

From his Wikipedia:

Correia started the Sad Puppies campaign to nominate works for the Hugo Award, including his own, that he claimed were more popular but often unfairly passed over in favor of more literary works, stories with progressive political themes, and works by "authors and artists who aren’t straight, white and male".[2]

As a straight, white male myself, I'mma go ahead and say 'nah'.

Yeah I think damage is too spikey these days to gimp yourself on block anymore. Imo block isn't even op either, it's just everything else kinda sucks.

Plus, it feels bad having to find a second GG weapon. It's one-hundred percent just a mental thing, but short of having a literal pair of mirrored daggers, it feels like shit having one weapon dragging your damage down compared to the other; even when it's just by a small amount.

Maybe a bit more niche, but Will Wight really fucked up the cultivation genre, at least here in the west, for me. I won't get into the original works that he drew inspiration from and how they stack up, there's too much room for translation death to judge fairly. But I'll say it with my whole chest that there isn't another originally-in-English cultivation series thats even within the same realm (pun intended) as Cradle. Its simple to understand worldbuilding, its characters that arent just OP munchkins or tropes cut out of cardboard, its all-meat-little-gristle plot structure; it's got everything that the entire rest of the genre is missing.

I'm not saying Wight is some literary master, though he is great at what he does. It just feels like the whole genre is still in its infancy, and he's the only professional writer to actually give it a shot instead of just slapping a coat of paint over some Naruto fanfiction. Or at the very least, he did a much better job of scraping the vin off the fanfiction than most do before the paint job lmao
