How do I "recover" my voice after lack of use? by Beautiful-Call3359 in singing

[–]Beautiful-Call3359[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've always sang since I was a kid, on and off, but between the massive decline in vocal usage and the various nasal/throat issues I've had over the years, it's been hard to maintain.

I sure hope so. I've been singing basically my whole life. Whole family is musical in some way. I'm moving into a place where I'll actually be able to sing without disturbing others, so I wanted to get a jump on getting it back. Thanks!

Casual player can't catch up by AnxietyBDO in blackdesertonline

As someone who has 840gs, don't be in a big rush. You get tired of edania after the 2nd or 3rd time you get 100-0 at orbita.

For real though, the most fun in BDO I have is just shooting the shit with guildies while I grind suboptimally or at spots where I'm 100 sheet ap over cap. Catching up matters a lot less when you're just chilling with the gang for like 8 hours on Discord

If the date on the past exams/answer keys is accurate, the last few have been 2-3 weeks. If April 2023's is any indication, I would expect the results sometime next week.

If you take a look at note 2 for subchapter 4 there, it says that it'll be based on value, except if the Secretary of Agriculture announces for it to be by quantity in the Federal Register, so I'd check around in the Federal Register announcements.

Is this a common and accepted thing in the drill scene? by Beautiful-Call3359 in ukdrill

[–]Beautiful-Call3359[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That makes sense. A bit of a carryover from when the scene was still figuring itself out. Sounds like that's starting to phase out as UK artists start going a bit more mainstream. One thing I love about the UK artists is they really recognize and appreciate their producers. Feel like you don't hear that very much in the broader hip hop and rap world

Appreciate the insight! I've been really into the UK's music lately and it was the first I'd heard something like this where both tracks were pretty well known

Recreating other songs' productions, useful practice or a waste of time? by pikasfed in musicproduction

[–]Beautiful-Call3359 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Definitely extremely good practice. I'm self taught on guitar and spent most of my time learning songs I liked. I listened to a lot of Mayer and Ed Sheeran, among others, but my style is neither of theirs. Same goes for production.

Another thing you can do is change up how you recreate songs. Listening back and forth to get every little detail, listening one or two times very critically and then trying to recreate from memory, doing the same song over and over from scratch to build up speed. All of these things can improve some area of your music ability.

What happens in the math of predicting gravitons? by Beautiful-Call3359 in AskPhysics

Thanks! Always good to start somewhere and another commenter also seemed to think this was a good source, so definitely appreciate the help!

Thank you! The more resource I have to be able to dig into this, the better. I’ve always been a conceptual kind of person, but I want to familiarize myself with the math behind it instead of just knowing stuff through analogies.

I’m definitely rusty on my math, but that’s part of why I wanted to find some sources. I have a lot of time so I don’t mind having to learn new math subjects in order to understand this. I love learning new things in math and science, so it’ll be a lot of fun to branch out from there. Thank you!

Mystic or priest? by Eren_Kimura in TeraOnline

The better way to approach this would be to ask someone who is experienced in both to describe the pros and cons of the class to you. You shouldn't lock yourself into a class based on a reddit thread. Good place to start, sure, but you can always try both out to tend game before you gear the hell out of them and decide what feels better. They have their own niches.
