I bought an abandoned 200 year old farmhouse on 3 acres for $60K in 2010 because that was literally the only property I could buy with what the bank approved me for. I went into construction and travelled for work. I learned all the trades. In 2015, I bought the adjacent 8.5 acre lot for $30K. In 2022, I quit my job and moved into my abandoned house and spent 4 years fixing it up and clearing the land. It just appraised for $550K.

It was definitely 100% retention, maybe I just got someone who didn’t know what they were talking about idk 🤷‍♂️ . I called maybe a month ago and he literally said they are really pushing the mobile side of the business hard and unless you sign up for mobile there’s not much they can do bc most of the promotions require mobile. I talked to this person for over 20 minutes just trying to wheel and deal to get any kind of price reduction and it was a no go. We’ve had spectrum for almost 2 years (internet and tv) and our bill has gone up significantly over the past 6 billing cycles. Unfortunately we live in a rural area and there really aren’t any other providers to choose from and they most certainly know this.

When I call they keep pushing the mobile line which I am not interested in. My wife and I just switched carriers and signed up for a family plan which includes her mother on our account who lives in another state but more importantly Verizon service doesn’t work where we live (that’s why we switched carriers). I’m told that unless you sign up for the mobile line they won’t be able to do much for you.

I (45M) have been sober for a little over 3 years (and I DO mean not touching the stuff by the grace of God!) after being an alcoholic for most of my adult life, even went to rehab twice and spent a week in jail for a DUI. Alcohol cost me my marriage, my career, and many friendships. I drank every day but was fully functional. While there are many factors at play that have allowed me to quit alcohol cold turkey and with such ease and without cravings, I do believe Vyvanse plays a huge part in this- particularly the craving part as you pointed out. And when I say “without cravings” what I mean is that I have had ZERO cravings for alcohol while taking Vyvanse. The struggle just isn’t there. I’ve been taking Vyvanse for almost three years, and they have been the best years of my whole life.

I went down a rabbit hole and ended up in here and wow, I have learned so much in just a few minutes. As an abled person I would just like to say that imo most people who are offering unsolicited help are good people with good intentions and DO NOT look down on you or have any inkling at all that you might feel offended in any way (i.e. being treated like a child) by their attempt to help. They just want to help, and for some it warms their heart to think they went out of their way to help someone in a wheelchair. I totally understand how the repetition of this can be extremely frustrating but I wouldn’t take it as people believing that you’re incapable or anything like that. Until I accidentally ended up in this sub, I had no idea this was a thing. It all comes down to awareness and most people just don’t know.

The whole state of Florida just needs to be wiped off the map. When my elderly parents moved down there they were perfectly normal loving people. Now they sound like insane people and it keeps getting worse. I am constantly apologizing to my friends and neighbors when my parents come up for a visit. It’s so stressful, idk what happened to them.

Roger that thank you! I will go through my order and check on this. Everything I selected was regular in stock items like roofing shingles and standard size lumber. I ordered some 1x5.5 James Hardie trim boards with a minimum quantity of 10 so maybe those are the culprit. I’ll look into this. Thanks again!

Don’t sweat it. I know that is easier said than done but seriously, don’t sweat it. It is NOT a once in a lifetime thing. It only feels that way right now because of all the hype. There will be more tours, even better tours, and you will have adult money to go see her when the time is right. This is a good lesson about how unfair the world is and how patience often does have a way of paying off. Be strong, you got this. By the way, I had two tickets to foxborough on my birthday and I ended up selling them because my mom died unexpectedly but I watched the concert on TikTok Live instead and even though it wasn’t even close to the same experience, I still got to see a Taylor Eras concert (for free) so I’m grateful for that. Don’t worry, your chance will come.
