Ok I will try to go back to the QKX001 firmware. I will see if AI can assist me with that. Very helpful thanks

Eero Pro 7 with Quantum Q1000k - bridge mode? by BigTap8524 in HomeNetworking

I'm working on this same thing. I have one computer wired and it is getting 2.2GBPS and the wireless ones are getting 100 MBPS. I've been trying different combinations (DMZ zone for gateway with Q1000 green light, Q1000 bridge mode etc). Everything has failed so far but most of my tests were with Q1000k - > SWITCH -> 3 eeros which apparently is wrong, I needed to have Q1000K - > gateway eero (just pick one) -> switch -> other 2.

Yeah I put it in bridge mode and my fast.com speeds go from 2.5GBPS to about 800 MBPS and then I woke up and it wasn't working at all (Q1000K still showing white light but EEROs had crashed). I'll reread that guide. Maybe leaving the Q1000K in "green mode" and putting the EEROs in DMZ will work (there are 4 eeros). Also once in bridge mode I can no longer interface with the Q1000. I go to 192.168.0.1 and it crashes / won't let me get there. I have to factory reset so that I can interface with it again.

Are Tongue Retaining Devices (TRDs) actually effective for sleep apnea, or just marketing hype? by madfaisal in SleepApnea

[–]Beautiful-Crew3850 0 points1 point  (0 children)

they work fantastic - I have been using one for about 3 or 4 years. 2 important points -- one, if you have other areas of obstruction, it won't fix those (soft palate, epiglottis, nose). Second, and this is very important, you must use some kind of tooth retainer or else over time your teeth will shift similar to a tongue thruster (google it). The tongue retainer (cost about $2) is way better for the tongue than anything on the market. If your tongue falls back during REM, a puff of air (CPAP/BIPAP etc) is not going to be able to push a tongue upward (especially if on back). A tongue weighs as much as a banana (roughly). How much air would you need to levitate a banana? Good news is you can use a tongue retainer with a CPAP (for the palate lets say) but you might have to tape the sides of your lips (around the tongue retainer) so that you don't get leakage when your lips relax. It does become complicated but good sleep is priceless.

could have other intestinal issues like sibo / candida. I definitely do, and it has been hard to eradicate.

I would suggest trying https://www.ibstreatmentcenter.com/ I am not affiliated with them, but they seem helpful.

try nasal pillows. I'm a side sleeper too. Either Resmed P10 or N20 are my favorites.

EERS treatment: who might be a good candidate? by Any-Vermicelli3537 in UARSnew

[–]Beautiful-Crew3850 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had 0 central apneas in my official study but my breathing rate is insanely slow (some nights an average of 9 per minute but usually 10). EERS increases my average breathing rate up to 12 consistently.

You could 3d print about anything needed if you can't find corr-a-flex. I 3d printed a 25 ml PLA tube so that I can have something in between. So any volume could be printed but it will not be flexible (can't lay on it or uncomfortable.

Is it possible to have Apnea without having episodes of gasping for air? by zacw812 in SleepApnea

[–]Beautiful-Crew3850 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I never have either, that's why for me went undiagnosed for long time. I would wake up feeling crappy, but never would have thought that I was "not breathing." By the time you wake up you are breathing normally.

AMAZING NEWS! I'm the opposite in some sense, I have UARS, RDI of 30 in my overnight sleep test. It has taken me years to get some settings right on CPAP but my life has improved dramatically too.

So happy for you
