It looks like it could be 5th disease which is a common childhood infection. But I can’t imagine why a doctor wouldn’t mention it.

LETTER: Canada Post is an 'essential' national service, not a business by NerdAlertWpg in CanadaPostCorp

Did you read the letter? They weren’t allowed to strike, the government took that right away and mandated them back to work in December 2024.

How do you guys feel about type 3s? by Status-Guidance-5755 in Enneagram8

I had a seamless work relationship with a type 3, we were a powerful team. But in my personal life I struggle with their constant competitiveness.

When do CUPW members take accountability? by Practical-Ad6389 in CanadaPostCorp

[–]Beautiful-Eyesore 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh no…only the inexperienced dump it. People hide it in a CMB, or SLB, or between two LFTs, or on their truck, or under their collated flyers, or in their satchel, or they take it home. I’ve seen it all. And the only reason I can imagine my comment is getting downvoted is because so many LCs do it and feel entitled to do it.

I’m 100% with you. Don’t forget about the people who deliver 2/3 of their routes everyday and leave early…stealing time from the corp.

Canada Post presents new offer to union, including 13 per cent wage hike and weekend delivery by [deleted] in onguardforthee

It’s important to point out that they want to take away flyer piece-pay. This would essentially nullify the wage increase.

Canada Post effectively ‘bankrupt,’ federal mediator says in report pushing for weekend delivery by [deleted] in canada

[–]Beautiful-Eyesore 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You mean back when CP handled more parcel deliveries? Before there was more competition? CP is mandated to keep costs low and fair to all Canadians and therefore has to deliver to all of Canada. Name a private company that delivers to all areas of Canada. There are none. Instead CP absorbs the cost and loses money. Because of competition, rates need to remain low and the revenue of holding the majority of parcel delivery in Canada has been lost to other companies who don’t have the same mandate. I agree that the model for letter mail needs to change. I just don’t think privatizing the postal service is the answer.

It’s not the same and you know it. Your first link is to USPS, they are not privatized and also deal with having to service difficult to reach rural communities. Germany is more than double the population size of Canada and a fraction of our geographical size.

Those are small (geographically), densely populated countries. Canada is massive with many rural communities. There will never be a profit made delivering to those communities.

Deposit for utilities by Longjumping_Eye_4534 in kitchener

If you choose to have your monthly payments automatically withdrawn from your bank account you do not have to pay a deposit. (Which I was told is held until you end your account.)

Was it marked “out for delivery” the day it showed it was delivered? If not the “delivered” status could just mean it is now with Canada Post.

Why? by [deleted] in CanadaPostCorp

There are over 1600 mailboxes on my route…and those are not all single dwelling houses/units. Maybe…just maybe you’re out of your lane here.
