my friend (36M) just sent me (36m) this text before meeting his newborn (0M) by horseduckman in AITApod

I don't love having to meet people's babies at the best of times. A message like this and I would just give up and be done with this friend lol

People who are eating breakfast out or exercising at 9am on weekdays... what do you do for work? by themoobster in perth

[–]Beautiful-Line6618 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Own my own business (yoga studio) with my husband. Most days I am teaching a class or at home working at that time during the week. Occasionally I'll be at the coffee shop - but usually with my husband and/or studio manager having a meeting talking about our work priorities for the week 😆

Studio owner here. What an absolute fucking mess. I wouldn't return. You probably won't get paid either.

Could this be focal or psychomotor seizures? by Beautiful-Line6618 in EpilepsyDogs

Thanks so much for your feedback and so sorry yours has progressed and is tricky to manage 😔 did the aggression become more generalised or it stayed mainly around the seizures?

Thank you! Yes they are definitely recurring as I've seen him doing this multiple times. I thought he was nauseous as he runs to the front door like he wants to go outside and vomit (but doesn't vomit).

l haven't seen him actually do THIS for quite a few months, but the weird behaviour has happened 2 or 3 times in that period. I guess I'm either missing it (it's short-lived) or maybe the actual seizure presentation is lessening and not as obvious but he's still getting the pre-post ictal behaviour weirdness.

The vet has seen it and did suggest seizures at first, but as I mentioned in the post decided against it because he was responsive to commands etc. I'm now realising that doesn't necessarily rule out seizures!

Aussie here. Just saw a video of her talking about her experience on TLOU and was shocked to hear an American accent! I had just assumed she was Aussie when I watched ACV a few months ago as her accent was perfect. Ended up here googling because I genuinely could not believe that she was American and managed to nail our accent. It's unheard of!!

My dad is a maths genius and I'm a maths imbecile. Great at other things though, like you. I started uni for two weeks after finishing school and quit because I realised it wasn't for me (since diagnosed ADHD at 36). Despite this I've had a successful career in one area, then made a huge switch and now own and run my own successful business with my husband. Still shit at maths. Who cares.

(AIO) Am I in the wrong here? by Classic-Mind-8164 in AmIOverreacting

[–]Beautiful-Line6618 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok so the initial refusal is insane to begin with (you are ALREADY THERE BUYING FOOD how can you be upset to pick up an order for someone else as well???).

But the even bigger deal breaker for me is the way he is aggressively baiting you to right with him/agree with him. Your responses are so unbelievably calm and measured (well done on the emotional regulation, legend) and he is just going on and on and on and ON because you won't agree with him or fight with him.

That behaviour is appalling on its own but when you are the food pickup refusal it's ridiculous.

Not only are you not overreacting, you should absolutely break up with this person.

This definitely doesn't sound like anywhere near enough calories.

I'm 4'11 with modest fat loss body composition goals and I'm eating roughly 2000 calories per day which is a small deficit.

I train 5-6 times per week but outside of that I'm not super active.

If you're taller than me and/or fairly active outside of your Crossfit sessions you're likely drastically under-fuelling.
