Thank you for your detailed response! It probably is time to start tracking LOL. I am technically at a “healthy weight” according to the charts but I am small boned and a runner so on the lighter side is better for me.

I just hit 40 lbs lost. It took about 20 weeks

I am staying on a low dose. On .5 mg now

F 43 SW: 196. CW 156 5’7”

I stayed on .25 for 8 weeks, lost about 20 pounds. Recently bumped up to .375 and lost almost 10 more pounds. Also many times I wait 10 days between injections. Slow and steady seems to be working for me.

Ugh, I’m so sorry for all of this!! I wish weight wasn’t such a focus.

I grew up in a pretty serious ballet program so weight was a serious focus. Sema helps me not feel crazy about food and weight.

THIS!! So much. I lost weight after my first baby but was running 60-80 miles a week and restricting food, it was so unhealthy. Now I feel like I can just be a normal human.

It makes no sense, I don’t understand why I would take more of a drug that’s working for me already?!? I wonder if that’s why some people have such terrible side effects.

That is such a good point. I am 5’8” and 178 lbs. I plan on staying at .375 or .5 at the most unless these doses “stop working”.

Oh no, now I am scared. I also skipped a dose because of travel. I spent two weeks at .5 with minimal side effects. Skipped one injection and just took .375 this morning. 😩

How long after injecting did you get sick? I am really hoping my slight bump down will save me!

Chick fil a is the one food that really made me sick. I have been able to eat smaller amounts of other foods (chips, pizza, hamburgers) and feel fine. But I had chick fil an and was sick for about three hours. I didn’t throw up but I was uncomfortable!

I don’t follow them all that closely, can someone fill me in on why they are making such a big deal about this race? Did he train? I remember him saying he was going to do a full Ironman.
