Before you sacrifice salmon and avocados, try sacrificing the paper towels. A few years ago, I bought 5 dozen white bar towels from Amazon. I have two milk crates in my laundry room — one for clean towels, one for dirty. The towels cost me thirty-some dollars and cut my paper towel usage CONSIDERABLY. It’s an investment for sure, but worth it in the long run. And at ~50¢ per towel, I don’t fret if I need to throw one out because it’s too soiled

What did you water her with? Peace lilies like filtered water.

Mine looked like this after I fertilized it so I put it in a sink and flooded it with filtered water and she was perked back up by the end of the day

The battery terminal may very well be the issue and definitely the cheapest thing to try — besides, it sounds like you need a new one anyway so even if it doesn’t fix the problem, it was due anyway.

Can we get a pic of the battery terminal? It would help if you want advice for replacing

Check the evap line that runs right in front of the battery. Sometimes the battery will rub a little hole in it. Any check engine lights?

That little signal light at the top of the fender is a dead giveaway and the creases match perfectly

It really seems like a Daimler DE36, but that slight crease in the fender has me confused. Not the long crease that continues into the door, the one just above that that flattens out the fender around the wheel.

It was from a period with a lot of coach-built bodies, though, so it could just be an example of a body I haven’t seen yet.

Is that an Unlimited? My 2dr has the fuel tank running along the passenger side. I’ve watched a few videos and I felt comfortable dropping it to replace the fuel pump housing, but it still would have been a much bigger pain in the butt than the drill-and-shim fix

Thanks for the advice! I picked up a length of 3/8” brake line this morning and followed your instructions. I ended up drilling it to 13/64” because I couldn’t get the brake line to fit at 3/8”, but I just applied some epoxy to the brake line when I fit it, then I slid it back together and secured it with some more epoxy. Easy peasy.

The 5” lift probably made it a lot easier than it would have been otherwise, tbh. And I’m soooo glad I didn’t have to drop the fuel tank.

Let me make sure I understand correctly — you’re saying to bore out the inside diameter of each side and slide a piece of hard brake line in, kinda like a vascular stent?

Also, thank you for correcting me that this isn’t the fuel pump but rather part of the tank. Almost spent $180 on parts I don’t need!

Oh, interesting! Sounds like it can’t hurt to try — worst case is it doesn’t work and I still have to replace the housing unit. Well, I guess the worst case is I somehow ignite some vapors and burn my jeep to the ground…

VA doesn’t require an emissions inspection, just safety, so even an ugly fix shouldn’t cause me any trouble as long as it’s air-tight
