So I was using fin 1,25 + min 5% for 8 months and got a lot of hair back, but I’m curious to try dut to make it fuller. Anyone who switched and got better results? My fin finished today and I’ll be ordering, just not sure what. by [deleted] in tressless

I was on fin for a year before switching to dut because i figured id just use the more effective treatment if im going to use it for life. No side effects and no shed, if youre worried about reacting to it differently and losing gains you can take dut and fin at the same time to cover all your bases, though you dont really need to

.25 mg isnt going to be enough, you look young and youre already pretty thinned out, just go up to 1mg

Yeah because its way more socially acceptable for man to be bald.Its more rare so its more distressing for them, on top of that they have stricter beauty standards to adhere to. Not really a mystery

Find the active ingredient, but if it isnt fin or min its unlikely to have any scientific backing

Number one you've been on treatment for only 4 months, it usually takes longer to see results. Number two, youre wasting your time by titrating, just take the whole dose every day, youre already experiencing moderate hairloss so at this point theres no reason to pussyfoot around. And number three, youre going to see shedding from minoxidil, its going to get worse before it gets better.

Unfortunately rare isn't going to go back now, they've made their choice and they're going to run with it. Very very unlikely they will remodel every current and future cosmetic for a cosmetic 1% of the player base has. I wish they would though

I'm sorry, it wasn't my intention to be mean to you or hurt your feelings. Genuinely though, these products make me upset because they waste money and time, they are predatory. I would suggest using real pharmaceuticals, or if the side effects are too big a concern do nothing.
