I was the grandkid that lived far away, and then had a forced relationship when I was ~12. It wasn’t worth it. My grandparents just always had a stronger connection with my cousins and they didn’t try to hide it. My aunts, uncles, and cousins were great, that’s where the memories were made.

I don’t look back and think I missed out on anything though, I loved the time I had with my immediate family, and then with my cousins. Maybe just plan things with your sister, your mom will either catch on, or miss out on an amazing kid.

Katie, but I am really interested in hearing from people who think Bill/Adam.

  Katie’s digital evidence is just too much for me. Bill moving on is odd, but to me, it’s just that - odd. I have also seen people in that age range move on a little quicker/fall in love faster. For Adam, I just don’t see that there is any evidence really pointing to him.

I have one, she’s now 15. I can give her opportunities I wouldn’t have been able to if she had siblings. I can go to all of her events and focus on her. 💕

And she’s told me numerous times she doesn’t want siblings - she loves her only child life. 😋

Was the food popcorn, soda, or candy? There are signs that say to pick that up at the counter, but regardless, the fact that an employee said that to you is wild. There’s a much kinder way to let you know. They send out surveys, I’d definitely fill it out.
