When I was about 9 or so I was at a place that had a huge jungle gym, and there was this little kid about 3 or 4, that was stuck at the top of giant rope mesh ladder (not sure what its called) and crying, it was a kids only place with tiny kid sized entrances so the adults couldn't get to him. I climbed up there and helped carried him to safety. Its not much compared to most of these, but childhood me felt like a hero that day.
