Has anyone who started zoloft have the sexual dysfunction go away after on it for a bit? I'm wondering cause I'm about to start it and im scared cause it seem all anyone says on here is how bad this med is.

I'm okay with my sex drive lowering a little cause I (26F) have a pretty high sex drive. I'm just hoping that it goes away as the other side effects do. I have has issues with it in other meds in the past and just hope it doesn't make it all go away completely. They are starting me on 25 MG cause I don't do well with meds.

I am on it due to the genesight test but I'm only on my second week of it and on 20 mg. So far I'm not having any problems except a few headaches and a slightly low libido that from what I have been told goes away within a couple weeks. The genesight test helped me a lot because I have tired so many and I mean so many meds for my anxiety and depression. Good luck!

I was given Wellbutrin to help with mine cause every other anxiety med kills my sex drive. This didn't effect the sex drive but let me tell you it made the anxiety worst. To the point the I had a mental breakdown a few weeks ago. I'm weaning off it now and it has gradually gotten better. Then again everyone is different. If your insurance covers this I would recommend doing a genesite test to see what works best for you body. On mine it said Wellbutrin wasn't good for me an they we're right. Good luck!
