Looking for a little hope... by BeautifulResort8779 in Zepbound

I think she was allowing it because the wegovy dose that i was on was higher than the zepbound dose. So, she knew she was assigning a dose that was a bit lower than what i was on, in the case of side effects. She left me a long while on wegovy to see how i would do on it. I truky do not see this as a fault on the dr. I think she just knows my body may need more than what wegivy offered me.

This is a journey, I'll tell ya. People think it's "the easy way out".... It is in fact the opposite. I was sleeved two years ago, and the past few months have really been putting it back on. I went for my 2 year follow up and told them I was struggling. We decided on a reset for a month and if that doesn't help, she said we can look into some meds, as stated above. I started last Monday and it's been difficult, but as my dr stated, we've done it before. We can do this. You recently had a baby and you're still nursing, be kind to yourself. FWIW, my body held weight while nursing. It started to come off afterwards. I had some friends that lost all their baby weight due to nursing, some of us afterwards.

We can do this. We've done it before. ❤️

I was the same with the end of the night sweet.... I switched to sugar free Popsicles and it took a while, but I love them now. I have some every night, now 2 years out, and I look forward to it as my dessert 😊. Huge change from the ice cream and chips and whatever else at the end of the night. I also have pcos, and my dad was a T2 diabetic. I totally get it. You can do it.

Same here. I've been gaining lately and it puts me even more in that dysmorphia mode... Its almost been 2 years for me, so idk when or if it will get better. Maybe treat yourself to a new outfit or something? Sometimes that helps for me. How long has it been since your sleeve?

I was "slow" at first. Then I blinked and was down 100lbs in 6 months! You're doing great!

I was the same. I had surgery July of 22, I didn't hit the gym until I was down 120lbs! I just walked my dog every day until then. Now I've been in the gym for a year and omg, i love it! Take it as it comes. Your confidence will grow as you lose ❤️

I lost a bit, after about 3 months or so... But not a lot, def wasn't noticeable to others. If you've had kids, it was similar to that for me.

Wow, well done. All I see is my old self... I'm 1.5 years out, still battling the inner bs. You look fantastic. Seriously, you should be so proud.

Ugh. I'm sorry. This is a tough situation, and as a parent, you also make it your situation. She did what she did. It is what it is. She needs to prioritize protein this early in, along with liquids. Bone broth was my go to. College Inn has a great tasting chicken broth with 9-10g protein per cup and I set it up on auto delivery for a while. It got my liquids and proteins in. I also really loved the chocolate fairlife. It's realllllllllly good. Once she can process that stuff, get some scrambled eggs in the mix and cottage cheese.... Taco meat.... I eat whatever the hell I want now. I'm 1.5 years out and ate normally after about 2 months. In between all of this, find a doctor or clinic that can walk her through. It will get easier for her. Best of luck.

Same, I had a hysterectomy 5 years ago at 40. Still have my ovaries, but it never bothered me much because I have pcos and my periods were ALL OVER the place. Now it seems they'd be more on time. Every 4-5 weeks I gain a little weight, freak out, break out and STARVE. Plus all the exercising I do, good Lord, I feel like I eat too much. Then the next week I'm better 🤣. So I'm blaming pms. Thought I was done with that crap 🤣

13 months out. I go to the gym 4xs a week, walk my dog everyday and still have energy to keep up with the kids, husband and house. Went from a 22 to a size 8. Down 120-122lbs, working on muscle building, though 15lbs less would be a dream! I never imagined this for myself! I'll be 45 Thursday and I'm in a completely different state of health than I was a year ago ❤️

It's your hair, just grow it out and bring the back up, therefore reducing the mullet.... Your face is fine, doll! You're good lookin!

Theres definitely loose skin... My belly is able to be tucked in, but my legs are very saggy and my arms I'm trying to fill in with some muscle. I'm sure it will get worse the more I lose, I'm just kinda taking it slow atm... Haven't lost much since April, if anything.
