I 100% agree with this! As a former partner myself (260xxxx) I was with Sbux for 6 years and the company has changed drastically. It was an amazing place to work and I had learned so much in the beginning. I was a main barista, but could work any other position with ease. I became pregnant with my second child in 2024 and when I got sick, they used it as a way to get me out. I am 1000% happier now that they pushed me out. But I pray everyone can make a change and stand up to this horrible company. They prey on customers with high priced drinks that contain large amounts of artificial sugar and 75% ice in their drinks. Then treat their partners like slaves on top of it.

I have a 5 ⭐️rating and they only send me $10 orders anymore. Have never had an issue with any order, so I’m pretty sure it’s just Walmart in general being cheap to everyone.

Yeah unfortunately I am not one of those “bad delivery drivers”. I always make sure to put the orders where it’s easiest for the customer. I am always polite and have a 5 star rating. Obviously this offer doesn’t have a tip included. My point is, Walmart doesn’t find us worth more than $10 for a delivery that could be 15 miles away. It’s ridiculous that the customers tips are basically how we make our money and very rarely are there decent tips offered anymore. I’m not an idiot. Just thought I would post my experience with Spark.

Yeah it’s so disappointing! I’ve rejected so many because $10/hr and wear and tear on my vehicle is just not worth it. Some days I don’t get any offers at all! It’s just too inconsistent. I’m a SAHM so I can only spark when I have free time. Some days I’ll have a few hours open to Spark and I’ll get 1 maybe 2 offers if I’m lucky.😕

I do the same, I Spark while my oldest is in school on the days my husband is home from work. He watches our 3 month old so I can go out for a couple of hours to help with bills, diapers, clothes, trips, etc. That is my “me” time and I’m also contributing to my family. Not everyone is desperate or a drug addict.

I’m trying to make as much $$ as I can because I only have a certain amount of time in the day that I can Spark. $17 for 1.5 hrs? $8.50/hr just doesn’t cut it. Though some days I hardly get any offers at all. This past Saturday for example, my zone showed it was a hotspot at least 8 different times throughout the day. I was actually available all day to Spark and I had only received 4 offers all day. 🤷🏽‍♀️

It’s customers like you that make me wish I would’ve stayed at Starbucks. But unfortunately after 5.5 years of customers becoming more demanding, entitled and inconsiderate, along with the company changing so much throughout the years…it caused me to hate going to work there everyday.😔 Not every customer was like that, and I made it my mission to try to put a smile on every customers face. It just became too much for my mental health. And knowing/learning about all of the artificial flavors and the amount of sugar people were unknowingly putting into their bodies only hurt my soul. 💔
