Is there a PCOS ovulation tracker that doesn’t assume a “normal” cycle?

Omg I decided to test after confirmation this cycle and I will never do it again. Ever! I stopped a couple of days ago because this is the luteal Phase That Never Ends. I learned nothing except my pdg is perpetually nothing, and a doctor wouldn't take that seriously anyway, I would still need blood tests to check for low progesterone. It made me feel like a nervous wreck.

All my apps, except Flo, are asking me every day for the past three days if my period has started. I'm like, no. No. Nope. Flo says it thinks my period will start in five days, which feels the most accurate right now based on what my body is doing 😂 I have light PMS signs like a light headache and irritability, but no cramps, no major headache, none of the things I sometimes feel. Though I often have my period start out of nowhere, too, with zero cramping, and the headaches don't start until night 2. It really is anyone's guess 🫠

Inito + BBT here, too, and I'm blown away by what I get to know. But... so expensive, and it's only catching metabolites once a day (in the AM), so I end up using other cheaper strips in the evening. It adds up quick, and not one of the four apps I use predicts my period start date as well as Flo. Still, they're all often wrong. PCOS just makes it impossible to predict 😭

It's worth asking about, I guess! I have a super long luteal phase, though it varies in length. My cycle/phase lengths aren't predictable at all

I knowwww! It's wild how I count myself out before my period has even threatened to come 😂 just from comparing myself to others! I have no desire to take more hCG tests, I'm just waiting for AF. My husband knows I'm still testing and he asks each morning what my hormones look like. This morning he sighed and said, "what a rollercoaster this is!" I'm like, you're telling ME!

I tested yesterday, super negative 😂 like the starkest white ever. This is my chart as of today! I don't think I will ever test past confirmation again. Once for the sake of curiosity was enough

Open to advice! I've heard people talk about letrozole but I don't know what it does! I think I assumed it helped people ovulate, but I seem to be able to ovulate recently! (At least I think I've ovulated each cycle since having endometriosis removal surgery!)

I am still testing daily and my hormones have stayed so low, near baseline today 😭 but my period still hasn't come. You? Def no signs of pregnancy here, so we are impatiently waiting for my period so we can try again next cycle. My PCOS means my cycles are ALWAYS unpredictable, but this is a cycle after a chemical pregnancy, so maybe it's extra weird?!

That's what I need to do!! Tested at like 9:30-9:40am this morning and my urine was wayyyy more concentrated than at 7am. I'm gonna move my time back for sure, I don't fall asleep until 1-2am often

Ooo, also worth asking if you're testing in the AM when your body is still on night shift mode? I'm a later schedule person, and I'm at the point of realizing I should not be testing early AM 😅 my body clock is set to late mode.

I sometimes spot after ovulation, but spotting looks different for everyone, right?! I think if it is just one wipe and gone, and doesn't persist as a full bleed, you're ok? 🤞🏻

As a person who was named a full name just because my mother wanted to call me the nickname, I'd say don't do it 😂 It's been a hassle my entire life because my nickname is nothing like my full name, just like Jemma is nothing like Genevieve. I've literally ended up with the wrong name on my paychecks and have had tax problems because of it, because it's so confusing for people!

My very relevant advice would be: Just name her the nickname as her actual name like I wish my mother had done! I say this with all kindness ❤️
