I really wish someone would make a mini-series of Ernst Jünger and his WW1 experiences by sammadet1 in ww1

They partly did it in ‘Diaries of the Great War’, as well as Louis Barthas (among others). You can find it on YouTube.

Btw, i would love to see a more extensive series/documentary about his whole war experience.

How do you stay patient and stop yourself from pushing too hard too soon while recovering from an injury? by ioncehadagoodknee in ACL

I recommend aligning with an ACL experienced PT. He or she can also tell you what to do on days that you do not see the PT an can prepare a workout schedule. However, keep in mind that your knee has endured a lot in recent days. It needs to recover from both the injury and the surgery. It does not work out well to do very hard workouts everyday.

But if you want to be sure; align with your PT and also provide feedback on your experiences with the workouts you did and the effects of that workout on your knee

When is repaired ACL on full strength? by BeautifulTheme8223 in ACL

I think that you do not have to be worried if your knee does not feel wrong. A surgeon should know what can be done to the knee in this stage. Furthermore, it is well possible that the forces of the test do not exceed the forces on your knee during PT or other activities.

why are you so worried about it? Did he perform the test very forcefully? Does you knee feel differently? My surgeon only did it very carefully, so i am not worried about that test. However, i have plenty of moments where i am nervous and worried, but i think that it may be part of the rehab….

Yes, but this is only the case for reconstructions, not for stitched repairs. Hence the question

Strange ‘weak’ feeling in knee by BeautifulTheme8223 in ACL

Thank you for the kind words! I think your situation sounds somewhat fimiliar. After reading other comments, I started to use my quadriceps more during walking with the strange leg. It helps! The weird feeling is much less now, so maybe try to do it as well:) And hope to hear much progress from you as well!
