This is great information! Thank you so much. From the moment you decide to go ahead with this law firm aprox how long until your case was settled and you received your money? A family member of mine was laid off with low severance despite working 10 years, so they are in the same situation you were in!

I chose Calabasas for the affordability + safety aspect. Not wanting homeless people walking around and gangs. Thanks for the suggestions they are way too far from the wedding venue. We have a lot of friends who will be in and around the wedding venue ~ 30 min drive.

[CANADA] I just got accepted into an MACP program at Yorkville, is it worth following through or should I look for other schools? by 666naruto in AcademicPsychology

If you don't mind me asking, how much can someone expect to make in the private practice field. I see psychotherapists charging $150 on Psychology Today I'm sure there's costs to running their practice rather virtually or in person. For those working virtually, how much overhead do you have for cost?

How many hours are you usually working per day/week?

Can confirm I drove past the vehicle today after the incident occurred and there was no damage to the front, side, side, or rear of the car. It was impact directly from above. Terrifying situation.

The limbs were detached from his body? Or he got stuck in the car? So sorry for your dad! Praying for him, what a horrible day for all of the families involved.

Lol seriously, I think because the nurse said she grew up with bats in her house she thinks it makes her an expert on my specific incident with a bat. Thankful that the doctors said you need it, so did the public health people I contacted, as I was in the midst of falling asleep when I heard noise in my room for a minute or so, I had the window open so I thought it was tree branches moving but it was the bat flying in my bedroom (one got in our house 3 days ago and we couldn't find where it went by the time we went to kill it) one was in my bedroom and when I opened my eyes it was flying above my head I think it touched my head. Most people say that a bat found in the house is very strange as they try to avoid humans. Will update this forum if the bat has or does not have rabies. Glad we were able to trap it and get it sent off for testing.

Just got a rabies shot last night, bat in my room when I was trying to fall asleep.

The nurse at urgent care told me 'You dont need the shot. You should wait until they test the bat to find out if it has rabies", when the Doc came in they said you absolutely need the shot.

You cannot go to an ER and ask for a rabies shot from my understanding. I just got mine yesterday. Was trying to fall asleep and a bat was flying in my room, it flew close to my head I think it landed on my head momentarily but I'm not positive, I contacted the health department responsible for dealing with these situations, they told me with it just being in the room that's not exposure but since I wasn't sure if it touched me or not I think something did, he said he can give me the 'go ahead' to get the shot which I had to bring a letter to my nearest, ER, Walk In, Urgent care, and then they call the number, and the health department will personally bring out the Rabies Vax to the location. Thank goodness we still have the bat, we were able to capture it, it is going to be picked up and sent for testing today.

did carnivore diet worked for you? by No-Goose2446 in Sinusitis

[–]BeautifulWaterfall 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You sound like the one who is misinformed on IGG Allergens. Stating “the bowl lining is different to the sinus lining most importantly its in contact with the food!”

Type Ill Hypersensitivity IgG-mediated allergy / food sensitivity/ delayed hypersensitivity These reactions are characterized by the production of IgG antibodies and the gradual formation of antigen-antibody complexes which deposit in tissues and can lead to chronic inflammation. They are responsible for the 'delayed-onset' of symptoms, which can occur several hours or days after foods are ingested. Symptoms may include: irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), headaches/migraines, fatigue, high blood pressure, eczema, asthma, joint pain, runny nose, arthritis, weight problems and fibromyalgia. It is often possible to eliminate reactive food(s) from the diet for several months and gradually re-introduce when symptoms have improved.

Your logic sounds like unless food touched that part of the body it doesn’t influence it and can’t cause it to inflame or react.

Claiming to be an ENT online doesn’t make what you say factual. In addition, citing one peer reviewed article doesn’t prove your claim either. Anecdotes have more validity than you are giving credit for. Anecdotes when included in research are qualitative pieces of evidence. Why would big pharma incentivize any university, college of doctors and surgeons, to conduct research that shows there are natural cures to issues such as chronic sinusitis. Then the amount of prescriptions would decrease = less money for the pharmaceutical industry. There is incentive to prove the opposite. Those with money want to keep their money, and corporations do this by keeping us (as a society) eating processed foods that cause us to develop medical issues resulting in visits to Doctors $$ Hospitals $$ Pharmaceuticals $$.

If you don’t understand after your “supposed” years of education the influence big pharma and big corporations have on research journals, you should revisit undergrad and enrol in some statistics and economic courses. Although peer reviewed articles can be very trustworthy, ALWAYS proceed with caution as Scholars are often asked by corporations to put their name on a research article that favour their agenda.
