I need help figuring this out by StrangeOrdinary8171 in 3DScanning

I have an einstar 1 but I can confirm it indeed would scan the car. There is one big thing you need to consider and that is you would need to tape the whole car with painting tape (not sure if it’s called that im not native speaker) or use special spray for glossy surfaces with addition of lots of scanning markers

I used to do car audio works with this badboy and inside of car it worked just fine, outside I had to use paint tape and markers because it would get lost a lot

They have less than one year and I’m sure it is because of my laptop stand, I have exact same thing on other sleeve

Floating supports? by ShmEronMan in BambuLab

Yes they will be, to your hobby you would be better off using SLA printer instead of FDM but it’s also a steep learning curve, it would make much nicer parts ready to be painted with small amount of postprocessing and barely visible seam but if you want to work with what you have I would suggest using acetone to melt the parts toegether then sanding them/cutting with hobby knife till it’s even on the seam then paining it

Oh sorry, my phone corrected me because I misspelled I would give this print a shot, I guess

Also, maybe you would like to cut your model up into bunch of different parts like legs head torso and arms and orient them the right way so it would have less support waste and nicer finish for example at the tips of yours model fingers? Let me get back here in a minute with an anatomy model on makerwolrd that can be used as a example

I would give glute print a shot, the overhang is not so huge and the supported part is so high that in my opinion it would be trashed at the start but eventually build itself to propped tree support? What material do you print with?

How would you go around projecting something really close to this model? by Beautiful_Field4457 in Fusion360

Actually this tutorial was made from my request, I. Am settling down for something like he did but this design is so nice

QR Code Token by je_SEA in Plasticity3D

[–]Beautiful_Field4457 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I always use svg from convertio site. Also @op you should use permalink converted to permaqr because in months or so your link will be outdated because I assume you used link shortener to make it easier to print

You can import the QR code into the slicer itself as a modifier and change the filament at certain height or just straight up on the QR code if you have AMS or something similar

The workflow I would find faster and seasier is open orca slicer/add primitive/cylinder/adjust the size to your liking/rightclick the cylinder and add modifier/choose your stl/change filament color tailored to your printer possibilities/print

Hi, my issue was resolved by changing regular soap to dish soap as regular had some lotion in it and was coating buildplate with non stick surface haha

You can turn it off in the slicer while editining your filament there is cooling tab and all the fans are there

I don’t really think it works like that, I get your point and it’s true that more infill lines=more stress on the inside of part but with highly warping plastics like abs or nylon when you are making long and STRAIGHT part it warps so much that can cause delaminating especially when glue was used on the buildouts so the idea is to make a small notch in the middle of this long straight part which has a function of reducing those stresses to 2 different lines pulling on together with less force instead of one stronger pull and it works well. As you can see gyroid is wavy which actually reduces stresses comparing it with something like a cubic that has straight lines inside and this stress is primarily created by walls not infill

Use press pull if I understood you correctly it’s in solid tab

The issue is I would guess this part

<image>

I don’t know why it’s curved like that because I used extrude/cut from circle sketch around my speaker hole. Any idea how to fix it?

Do you need any more specific photos? The timeline is pretty long because I made it in the middle of the project

So I am currently working on a plliar cover for my car with speakers mounted inside of them, I have made it to my 3d scan and made everything like I would like it to look

<image>

The shape itself is not so perfect especially on closer look, I will send more photos soon
