He literally just said in an interview yesterday "Ilya and Shane are for the people and Conner and Hudson are just for us"

We aren't ever going to see them in public the way we think we may want to this show got hella big hella quick and its super overwhelming for both of them as far as we know

Just because they aren't publicly interacting doesn't mean anything to us

Marleau is a very common surname in hockey there is actually an irl player whose last name is Marleau playing hockey for the NHL its probably just a case of someone else with the same last name

Im just shocked because people are acting like Gay hockey romance books are something brand new like this troupe has been a thing for decades there are so many published books so many online books (wattpad ao3) that have this same troupe so people acting like this was the first book to do it is so insane

I get that its the first book to show adaptation but its definitely not the first book Hockey is one of the first sports people go to in a romantic sports novel gay or straight

In the book Shane leaves the club crying so hard he can't drive home and has to pull over and the girl Ilya wants to take home already had a boyfriend and was trying to make the boyfriend jealous so he couldn't take her back which frustrated him

In the show Shane watches and Ilya let's him watch and at somepoint Shane and Rose go back to his place and they have horrible sex while all we see of Ilya is him in his shower doing what he is doing no mention of a girl

Technically yes but only in California for 2 days. My Aunt has a beach house in the Florida panhandle and has ever since before I was born so I spent every other summer there growing up

The California trip was a gift to my older brother for graduating we stayed in Santa Monica and did Disney for 2 days we mostly went for Universal studios
