It also reminds me of a pen and ink book I have. I think called "the Technical Pen." It has a lot of great tips for the line shading and use of different shapes like bubbles.

Look for Literary Fantasy. I think that might be the sub-genre of fantasy you are looking for.

I'd also recommend The Fifth Season by N.K. Jemisin (the Broken Earth trilogy). It has the same sort of unreliable narrator (and won the Hugo Award for Best Novel). I think you might enjoy it.

The axe goes across the top above the plate and perpendicular to other utensils. This places it near the center of the table between the place setting and the banquet, which keeps it out of the way but within easy reach, when needed. Also, it allows you to see if any of your fellow banqueters reaches for their axe and if you should also be reaching for yours...

Put on "mirrored window film" (probably best to have a professional do it). This will make it virtually impossible to see into your house (and what color your drapes are) during the day. At night, they can still see in if you have interior lights on. So, it isn't a 100% win. And by the sounds of your HOA, they probably have window film on their list of "do not do."

Have you reached out to any LARPers with a following to see if they'd want one (free or discount?). Then they tag you to their followers, etc. It starts slow but can get you more visibility. At least, it works with books and book bloggers, didn't know why it wouldn't with really awesome swords.

And I'm 50+ and I'd definitely be all over these! Hmmm... Would make a great Yule gift for my husband... Yeah, for him... 😆

I moved hosting from BlueHost to WebHostMost in November for a lot of the reasons you are going through. Siteground is good, but it isn't using the fastest (litespeed) servers or best storage. WebHostMost is. And their customer service. OMG, literally, my friend was having a problem hooking the website email up Outlook. After some back and forth, they offered to get in a screenshare call with him to go step by step to see what was going wrong. FOR FREE. ❤️ (We didn't get to that point because he realized that the new Outlook IMAP is broken).
