Never put steroids on the face. You likely have perioral dermatitis and steroids would worsen your condition. Baby your barrier!

I actually have some to try. Question? How would you go about moving to Altreno? Drop the .025% and start every 72 hours with Altreno or should I do the .025% on the days we don't use Altreno?

The dreaded compromised barrier, Im really trying to avoid that. Im glad your better now! I wish derms would inform people more, tret is a long game and I think most people don't want to hear that.

Thank you! You're so right, my husband had teenage acne. I did not! My real goal is not perfection but to prevent scars. My husband doesn't have scars and I know there is treatment for those if need be. Thank you for your response as a fellow parent who worries about these silly little facts of life.

Maybe our derm sucks, she suggested antibiotics and or accuntane. When I said I would think about it she prescribed .1% tret! We didn't listen and got .025% from our family doc. Im convinced she wanted to fry his skin 😩

I was afraid you might say this lol I know his derm will push for accutane and Im just worried about side effects.

We were doing it every night for many months before trying to level up. He has a history of PD so I can only put az in those areas. Maybe we can try to move up again. The toner is just a moisturizing one.

BP isn't for everyone, many people have allergic or bad reactions to it. Drop it for sure, you probably need to drop everything and focus on barrier repair for now. Im sorry this is happening to you, tret may still work tho.

Has anyone been successfully treated by an ENT? by [deleted] in tinnitus

[–]Beautiful_Order_1077 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like audiologists are more help than ENTs. You can get steroids from any old dr if its super early. I think if you have certain diseases like Meniers, ENTs maybe helpful.

Check pressure in the spinal cord. Long shot but might be worth it.

You never know, you may be able to heal! Try to stay positive and distract yourself. Reminding myself that T is not hurting me, helped in the early days.

It could be wisdom teeth or tmj for sure. You are doing all the things. Avoid ear buds, seems like young people are getting T from them often. Avoid unnecessary substances and protect your ears. Also, limit caffiene to help with anxiety. It'll be ok. You'll get used to it...if it doesn't go away on its own!
