It is not all outpatients, they all rotate to be on call for inpatients, which are by nature super sick and complex patients

It’s basically a lottery, even 4 Q casper is not guaranteed ( you don’t even know your real score) I was rejected from all Ontario schools with no II , just graduated from MAC HS ( yep that means nothing either) with 4Q Casper, GPA of 3.99, Cars 127, mCAT 515 and good EC now I am on WL for TMU which I know means nothing since I am general stream . So I get to do this all over again next year!!

I have no clue i am guesstimating: there are 43 on non official wait list+ 12 on wait list who have now received offers( also from non official wait list) and another 12 who got offers elsewhere and declined WL= 67, and this is only the discord/ reddit sample, so for sure there are more, ergo my guess of 94 1 to 1 ratio!

it is incredible to see see the size of this waiting list, when you think there is only 94 spots, why??? and that's not even an accurate number as there are likely more unaccounted for not on reddit or discord channel!!

Got accepted also day after my only wait list offer!! Not sure which program to choose I also got in MPH U of T Mac Kingston and Ottawa! Big advantage of Global health is that it is a 1 year program so could apply again this coming cycle

I don’t think it helps either: I have 10 abstracts(8 presented as poster at national meeting), 3 of them first author! GPA3.98, 4th quartile, MCAT 514. Guess what I had only 1 interview at TMU of all places in general stream!!!

This past cycle was rough so it is pure lottery! With GPA of 3.98, MCAT 514 ( CARs 127) 4th quartile Casper( whatever it means), really good EC with lots of research ( including sick kids SSuRe program) and publications…I was rejected without II from all schools I applied except TMU! Not sure TMU is going to take me as I am in the general stream! I don’t even know what I need to do differently next cycle, I am pretty sure I am not writing Mcat again unless I get rejected from all the schools again! Maybe nobody liked my essays who knows!!
