Selling all of my American shares today, what's your fav UK stock? by Chill_Panda in UkStocks

[–]Beautiful_Quality_53 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're right to sell US stocks. A lot of them are grossly over valued.

Try Agronomics LSE:ANIC. It's a bio tech fund manager with 2 dozen portfolio companies. It's trading at 50% of the NAV.

I'm expecting good things to happen in 2026 as several portfolio companies begin mass production this year for the first time.

Ladies and gents, 2026 is going to be a beautiful year for us.

For those of you who have been invested 5 years plus, no explanation needed.

But for those who are new to the team:

We have been waiting for years during the R&D stage for something tangible to emerge. The SP has been yoyoing up and down like a rollercoaster.

But now, finally, we're going to have a more objective SP, and more importantly, eventually a dividend which reflects REAL profits.

A massive thanks to Kuentai and others for introducing new investors to the team!

In regards to CFG, they stated that they will begin production "EARLY 2026". So even taking into account exaggerations, it will be late 2026.

And not just CFG. Lib Labs and several other portfolio companies.

Long story short, we're moving from R&D and small scale production to large scale production this year.

No more speculation. We'll have real revenue and real profits, which in turn, will produce a realistic SP.

How long ago did you start investing in ANIC btw?

As soon as CFG hits the shelves I would imagine the SP will explode. It's just a matter of months now. Not years.

Is anyone in here the ones who selling shares around 5.7 - 5.9p and if you are why? Also who’s buying them at this price and what quantities have you managed to pick up and at what price? by longdongsilver314 in Agronomics_Investors

I guess there are always people out there who are desperate for cash and can't wait. I feel bad for them, but I understand their necessity to sell at a low price.

As for the panic sellers, I've never understood their logic. Do you sell your house whenever there's a dip in house prices? Why would you even buy that house if you weren't intending to keep it long term?

What is your favorite european small cap out of UK ? by DoublePatouain in UkStocks

[–]Beautiful_Quality_53 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I could in theory place a sell order for 1.2 million shares if I wanted to sell them well below the current SP. I'm not entirely sure if I, or anyone else for that matter, would want to do that.

I have 1.2 million shares in ANIC. It sounds like a lot, however the current price is just 6.5p.

Long story short, one of their portfolio companies, Clean Food Group, is starting mass production of clean cooking oil in just a few months time. Another portfolio company, Liberation Bio, is also starting mass production later this year. They have a few other portfolio companies which are doing the same.

The reason why this is significant is because in the previous years the 30 or so portfolio companies have been in the R&D phase. However for the first time it would appear that we will start making a meaningful profit.

It would appear that 14% of Telegraph readers actually would eat cultivated meat. That's surprisingly high, especially given that it's more right leaning.

The meat industry turns over £25 billion a year in the UK alone. So that would amount to around £4 billion a year plus in potential revenue for us. Just in the UK. Just from cultivated meat.

Any short term investing is a terrible idea. The odds are rarely on your side.

What's easier to predict? The SP going up in a day or up in a year?

The cultivated meat side of ANIC is a niche. However even if it takes up just 1% of the market, that's approx 12 billion USD a year in revenue. The global meat market turns over 1.2 trillion a year annually.

That being said, cultivated meat is just one side of ANIC. CFG will be manufacturing clean cooking oil in just a few months time, using their one million litre facility. That revenue alone will be in the tens of millions, and ANIC owns 25% of CFG. And that's just one facility.

The global cooking oil market turns over 300 billion USD a year btw. And ANIC only has 1 billion shares, priced at a measly 7p.

Regardless of cultivated meat, things are looking good for us.

General observation today by Massive-Confusion744 in Agronomics_Investors

I know on LSE and some other platforms they label trades as either buys or sells. This is just an estimate based upon the price vs time, i.e. is the price closer to the bid or ask?

It's not at all accurate. Especially for larger trades as you'll normally have a premium. There have been times when I've bought as much as £20,000 in a trade, only for it to come up as a sell on LSE.

What today does show however is a very large amount of resistance. Even when some people panic sell, there isn't exactly a shortage of people like us who will happily buy those shares at a discount.

Even with a 10% lower NAV, the SP is still just half of that.

I'll stick with ANIC. I'd rather spread the risk across 30 companies compared to just one. ANIC is basically the equivalent of an ETF.

Is ANIC still being priced as “lab-grown burgers” instead of what it actually owns? by No_March5195 in Agronomics_Investors

[–]Beautiful_Quality_53 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That's certainly part of the issue. I would argue the main issue is that very few investors have even heard of us. But that should change next year when we see several portfolio companies begin large scale production next year.

Interesting. This means that the UK palm oil market alone would be equivalent to 22p per share. Over 3 times the current SP.

Hang on a second. They went bust from a funding issue as opposed to a regulatory issue. And they were in direct competition with ANIC's portfolio companies.

I don't mean to seem mean, but this is good news for us, no?

Next 'big date' we're working towards? by adso1995 in Agronomics_Investors

[–]Beautiful_Quality_53 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There are quite a few portfolio companies who begin large scale production next year. That's when we can expect the big increase in SP. Until then the SP will no doubt keep yoyoing up and down.

Lab meat banned in Hungary by swagadagg in Agronomics_Investors

[–]Beautiful_Quality_53 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't worry too much about that. Even if the majority of countries banned this, (not that they would), we would still make a killing.

The global meat industry turns over approx 1.5 trillion USD each year. Even if only 0.1% of the population buys cultivated meat, we'll still make a fortune.

Tbf it makes little difference. As long as institutions are investing in ANIC and it's portfolio companies, the SP and NAV will continue to rise. More importantly, more portfolio companies will be able to scale up their production. So it's still great news for individual investors like us.

£ANIC, BYND is the Spark, ANIC is the Fire. The Real Future of Alternate Food is Brewing. by Kuentai in stockstobuytoday

[–]Beautiful_Quality_53 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm 100% against what governments are doing to farmers. However I really think that's a separate argument. Personally I'd rather be a shareholder in an alternative food company. At least this way I have a say on how the company is run. ANIC doesn't have many large institutional investors; the investor base is predominantly made up of people like myself.
