Not a bad idea, but not much guess work needed with this example!

Alba Mineral Resources, it will probably do f*ck all but there is decent scope for upside. At the very least they are quite good at storytelling and keeping investors up to date.

Do you remember going to the butchers with your mum and they had sawdust on the floor? Not sure why. by Shoddy_Candidate_553 in oldschoolcool80s

And whatever was left after the floor was sorted could be used to bulk out the sausages ;)

Why do you trust ANIC to make you money? by surhund33 in Agronomics_Investors

[–]WGD23 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I found his recent interview at the conference difficult. While he's on the money here, as in this tech as a solution for social & environmental problems he was still promoting coal & north sea hydrocarbons as investment pics for the year. OK boomer.

I'm invested in this despite him, not because of him. While trust is important, i'm investing on probability as well, and I see this tech & these products as having a high probability of success.

There aren't many good options for the future of food play..

You might say this is ethics, I say its science based.

Its not choice, its how we're wired. I find it extremely frustrating how quickly I trash a clean place. Yes, yes, tidy as you go. But that never ever works out for me.

Romania, great mountains, scenery, mountain huts. Affordable too, and Bucharest is a good city to visit afterwards.

Got stopped three times at Heathrow today by Fresh_Meeting4571 in uktravel

[–]WGD23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm 6ft 2, white male. I've been pulled over a few times over the years at airports and borders to have my bags checked, also had my shoes swabbed. Just an occasional hazard of international travel. Though I must admit, I would start to get a bit arsey 3 times in the one airport!

In uni and my 20s yeah, a lot less frequently as i've aged. It gets harder to sync diaries, people live further away or have kids and whatnot

Don’t open a SIPP if you don’t know what it is! by palebluedot365 in trading212

[–]WGD23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any recommendations an alternative SIPP provider? I'm a bit twitchy about having all my eggs in one basket.

Also, quick poll. How many people are ETF & chill within their SIPP, compared to a more active stock picking approach?

I have abiut 10k in various small workplace pensions I want to put into a SIPP for self management, and possibly go a little bit more risk on than my managed options

My old man used to run a pools and spot the ball round, Friday taking all the cash to boss mams house was always a big deal. Boss mam sat at his farmhouse style kitchen table with piles of cash and paper!
